Why won't this online game launch?

I’ve been wanting to sit down and play this game with my daughter because it actually has some educational value and is quite charming, but I can't get it to load on my home computer. It just sits there with a spinning loading icon on a black screen. I've already tried running it through both Chrome and Internet Explorer 11, but no luck—it's the exact same result. I don't even have an antivirus installed to interfere.

Strangely enough, it works perfectly fine when I'm at the office using Chrome, and honestly, my work PC is even older than the one I have at home.

Maybe try going into your Chrome settings and toggling the permissions so Flash is always allowed? I clicked the link and the game loaded up just fine for me... if it still won't cooperate, you might just need to install Adobe Flash Player https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

The game isn't even running on Flash.

Since it's a JavaScript game, I'm not entirely sure which version of Windows you're running, but if I had to guess, it might be related to a missing Service Pack.

For what it's worth, I'm currently browsing on Windows XP, 64-bit, with the latest Service Pack 3 installed, and I believe I've got the .NET Framework 4.0 updated as well.

I finally managed to figure it out—I have AdBlock Plus installed in Chrome, and everything started working perfectly once I disabled it specifically for this site 🙂.
