Hello

I am looking for an Android app or computer software with TTS capabilities that converts text to speech. It is primarily for visually impaired individuals to make reading easier, but it must support the American language.

Any recommendations would be appreciated; this is urgent.

Thanks, and all the best in New York.🎉

I think Alphanumeric based out of Chicago has been at this for a while now. Try using the 'John' voice for American English; the other synthesizers for the language are pretty outdated...

I just downloaded the file "anReader_4.2.8_Marica_Act.exe," but I am honestly at a bit of a loss regarding what to actually do with it once it's on my hard drive.
Do I need to have some sort of specific software installed alongside it to make this work?

Do I need some other software to run this?

I mean, did you even bother reading the documentation on their website?

Android devices come with built-in voices; simply download a vocalizer app and select the appropriate language. You will get a 7-day trial, after which purchasing a specific voice costs roughly five dollars.
