Best laptop for school?

Hey there! I’m looking for some advice on picking out a laptop for my 14-year-old daughter. It’s going to be used strictly for schoolwork—mostly just running Office programs, though knowing how kids are these days, I have no idea what else she might end up downloading or running on it 😁... I was thinking of sticking to a budget of around $550 if there's something decent out there. I don't need anything top-of-the-line, and it definitely doesn't need to be a MacBook; I'm just looking for a solid Best Buy kind of deal for about $550. But then there's the dedicated GPU—which nobody actually needs here—so I'd just count that as a negative. It's basically just another component prone to failing, and it's totally unnecessary.
