Jason Campbell70 said:Big thanks to Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel, and Kimi Raikkonen for making this day absolutely legendary. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Honestly, you can't say a single damn thing about Kimi Raikkonen, the guy was driving his heart out, but his own team just totally screwed him over, and if you ask me, he’s actually outperforming Sebastian Vettel at this point anyway.

It’s a shame for Kimi Raikkonen, but honestly—the Mercedes strategists just played circles around them.

Ferrari and their strategy... 🤦
classic. 🙏 They basically handed Kimi Raikkonen the win on a silver platter.
The pit crew really dropped the ball there—he was actually lucky that an SC came out when it did to shake things up.

In my view, this was a pure team victory for Mercedes; it wasn't as if Hamilton did anything superhuman. He drove a great race, sure, but it wasn't anything out of this world.

As for Max: I'm speechless, the guy is just... wow. 🤦

And poor Ricciardo is going to have quite the uphill battle with this crew for the rest of the season...🕺

Mercedes-Benz executed their strategy almost perfectly. The only thing they missed was telling Valtteri Bottas to stop chasing that young Dutchman; he was going to finish third regardless. By pushing so hard, Bottas actually helped Sebastian Vettel close the gap by another two points. But looking at that young kid—he’s never going to be a champion if he keeps thinking like that.

What good is all that talent if you can't keep your cool?

Winning was easy enough back when he was cruising in the fastest car on the grid.
Go ahead, try grabbing a championship when you're stuck playing catch-up with the guy right in front of your nose.
Now he knows exactly how tough it was for Alonso.

Except for the fact that Vettel's got the faster car right now.

Isn't that flag basically a permanent fixture at the US Grand Prix every single year now? 🤣

This Čapljina guy has been trolling the podium at Monza for years now. :kokitze:

btw. isn't it like... not even a penalty anymore when Mercedes does that stuff when Kimi pulls into the pits? I guess maybe they changed the rules or something

Anthony Baker84 said:By the way, isn't what Mercedes did when Kimi pulled into the pits illegal now? Is that rule gone or what?

Tibi will probably show up later to explain why it's allowed. Or maybe not.

But who cares. 🙂

Honestly, even bothering to compare car speeds on this track feels pretty pointless since everyone’s been hovering within a tenth of a second all weekend, plus you've got that massive slipstream effect making it way too easy for anyone trailing behind to stay glued to your gearbox

I mean, if Sebastian Vettel's car was actually as much of a rocket ship as some people are claiming, there's no way Lewis Hamilton would have been able to hang right on his tail through turn 4

The race is gone, but it wasn't because Seb lacked the pace to pull away with a faster machine; he just completely lost his cool and fumbled the basics, which—if you ask me—is a much bigger sin than just having a slower car

Signed. I'm against most people here, but you can't be against everyone, man.

Kimi was absolutely killing it ( 🙏 🙏), so I don't get why everyone is making him the punchline just because he lost the win.
As for Fettel... 🤦

Jason Campbell70 said:Now we're getting into some serious frustration.

For sure... honestly, I just hope to see a Ferrari win—either a race or a championship—before I kick the bucket.

On a slightly different note, for those of you rooting for other teams, what’s the deal? Why don't you like Ferrari? I'm being dead serious here, not trying to troll. I'm not just talking about this season or the current drivers, but looking at their whole history... I'm pretty new to this group, so I have tons of questions.😁

When it comes to Mercedes, nothing is off-limits, I guess. It feels like they can get away with pretty much anything.

@Brandon Evans5/">@@Brandon Evans5 Man, this is gonna cost him the championship—he’s basically throwing it away with all those stupid mistakes during qualifying. I mean, he ended up being like 0.1s slower than Kimi even after all that mess... just a total disaster.

Toby, get out of here! Nobody’s going to bother you. Let’s just sit back and talk about how masterly Sebastian Vettel handles that steering wheel.🙂

Darkmarlin16... just like people claim "Blacks on Blondes" is good because of the blondes, this race was good because of Raikkonen.
