I don't think the Ferrari is even the strongest car on the grid right now
Sebastian Vettel just can't seem to hold it together when things get intense—it’s such a shame we aren't seeing Kimi Räikkönen driving on equal footing at Ferrari, because he’d leave that arrogant German in the dust in no time...

Way to go, Kimi Räikkönen! At 39 years old, absolutely tearing it up on home soil against a driver the entire team has been favoring over him for four years straight... just priceless.

The level of shock and disbelief coming from the Ferrari pit wall is palpable; they aren't even trying to mask it anymore.

Sebastian Vettel had a rough time in qualifying, even if he did manage to snag a spot on the front row. He was constantly sliding off onto the gravel and missing his marks.
Tomorrow, Kimi Räikkönen is going to have to make a move right out of the gate, damn it, but man, I hope he just absolutely crushes them in qualifying! he he

To follow up on your comment from yesterday regarding "If Kimi were capable of winning, he would have done it by now" and "The team strategy isn't really a factor here" 🙂

Finally, Ferrari actually pulled their pit stops together like they’re supposed to 🙏
Those guys 👍
That slipstream move was brilliant, and seeing Kimi ahead of Lewis Hamilton is just great 😁
And hey, Kimi finally grabbing pole 🙏

It’s honestly a stretch to compare Kimi’s standing at Ferrari to how Bottas is positioned over at Mercedes...

Tomorrow Kimi will probably have to make a move immediately—it’s just how it goes—but hopefully, he can just tear it up in qualifying, haha.
I think Vettel is a decent guy, though—he seems to struggle with a bit of an ego issue when faced with real competition within his own team.
That’s likely why he makes those questionable calls. Tomorrow, they'll probably just swap the lead during the pit stops—1st Place Seb, 2nd Place Kimi, 3rd Place Lewis, 4th Place Bottas—and that'll be that. 🤷

In both fast Q3 laps, those geniuses are clearly having their number one driver pull weight for the number two guy.
It’s the classic setup where the lead driver is fighting for the championship, while the second driver has zero reason to care about points other than helping his teammate clinch the title.
At Indianapolis.
Well, I guess I've seen everything now.
