Why bother working hard to overtake through the corners when you can just wait for the straightaway, pop the Drag Reduction System open, and the guy defending is basically a sitting duck? You just fly right past him like he’s standing still—job done.
Remember how Ericsson and Hartley were out there at Indianapolis Motor Speedway?
Honestly, I'd rather just slide off the track than try to pass like that.

Honestly, it feels like Daniel Ricciardo might be one of those rare drivers who’s actually counting down the days until the season finally wraps up

McLaren is a total mess right now. On today's practice session, they were slower than almost everyone else. The only ones even remotely close were Nico Hulkenberg, who didn't get a decent run in because of his Drag Reduction System acting up, and Pierre Gasly, who kept getting stuck in traffic and couldn't actually set a real time.

So, we're looking at a dry weekend. I really hope we get some rain tomorrow just to shake things up—it would be great to see some chaos on the starting grid like we did during the last race.😁

Yeah, looks like rain might actually be Mercedes' best friend today.
Honestly, I wouldn't be shocked if one of those Ferrari drivers fails to even scrape into Q3.
We really shouldn't count on their pit wall either—they’d probably be better off watching qualifying from the grandstands at this point. Might actually prevent them from messing things up even more.

The odds are sitting at 3 to 1 for Lewis Hamilton to grab pole position, and honestly, I think we should jump on that while we can.

Max will take pole tomorrow. Mece and Ferkani are going straight into the wall.

So, how is everyone else watching F1 these days? Which streaming service or network are you all tuning into?

It’ll probably end up being scrapped as a safety hazard, much like how they handled those ground effect fans under the cars.

Personally, I wouldn't vote to scrap the Drag Reduction System entirely—though I am in favor of lifting all the restrictions. In other words, let whoever wants it use it, whenever and wherever they please; if someone wants to run an entire lap with it open, fine by me. I think it might actually increase the excitement—mostly because true driving skill, especially defensive maneuvers against someone with an open wing, would finally be somewhat relevant again.

Can confirm. I'm in Italy today and tomorrow—not even a hint of 50 miles from Indianapolis, just endless clouds everywhere.

I usually hunt down a 1080p 60fps stream on Reddit for the Ace Stream app. Mostly just ESPN F1

Go Stroll is looking pretty solid—at least for the moment. I’m hoping for a Q3 appearance and a top-tier finish, ideally just trailing Ferrari, Mercedes, and Maxov's Red Bull Racing.
#119 ·
I’ll tell you what... right now, I’d put them as the third fastest team on the grid, though it’s a tight race with Red Bull since they’re struggling with quite a few issues lately.

Christian Horner just made it clear he isn't even going to sweat the qualifying results for the shelter since they're starting from the back anyway.
