PDF. L.A., topic regarding CDC:

Hazen said:Given you mentioned how people brush you off once they realize your age—or rather, once they get a sense of who they’re actually dealing with—I suppose there are still some smart ones out there, thank God. I truly hope you run into those types more often in life, regardless of how much younger they might be than you.

Honestly, I find it baffling that anyone would even respond to your ads; presumably, they aren't reading your posts in these threads. I haven't read anything quite this greasy or shameless on this forum in a long time. It is genuinely terrifying to think that people who harbor these kinds of thoughts might be walking around in the real world without me ever knowing. Even worse is the thought of getting involved with someone like that, only to discover later exactly what kind of person they allowed close to them. For you, the CDC would be the least of your worries when it comes to relationship dealbreakers.

Total garbage! Those insults were clearly intentional. 😁

Fortunately, I don't engage in anything closer with people like him than sharing an elevator ride.

...

Is this actually permitted? Usually, users get sanctioned for much milder instances of "trolling" than this.

The insults directed at you have been sanctioned.

I don't see (enough) reason to issue any formal warnings in these specific posts.

I don't see (enough) grounds here to issue any bans.

Oh, really? So, writing exhaustive psychoanalyses while slandering someone—with a clear intent to insult "subtly"—doesn't count as "trolling"? Perhaps we need a concrete, written definition for this so-called trolling, because, frankly, the definition seems to shift whenever an admin feels like handing out a penalty. Usually, the hammer comes down for "trolling" the moment someone shifts the focus from the topic to personal attacks, regardless of who started it. In this specific case, it's blindingly obvious that I wasn't the instigator; I stayed strictly on topic. If I had actually engaged with the nonsense, at what exact point would the moderation decide to step in and hand out a ban?
And by what logic does a single comment in a thread that has already devolved into personal territory qualify as trolling, yet the behavior above does not? Even the other user has accepted the penalty.

I'm curious to hear the admin's take on this.

After touching base with the admin, those disputed posts have been removed.

On another note, the mods have decided that this community doesn't need someone with your specific way of communicating—especially when you're being so blunt about hiding an HIV diagnosis from women for whatever reasons you claim.

You’ll be eligible to request an appeal in six months.
