My apologies for the intrusion, everyone, but I find myself in need of a bit of guidance. I am looking for laptop recommendations for an architecture student who will be frequently running AutoCAD and various 3D rendering software. Ideally, we are looking at a 15'' model to balance power with mobility, staying within a budget of roughly $6,500$2333. A non-reflective screen would be a significant advantage, though perhaps not an absolute dealbreaker. I would prefer to purchase this from a local retailer in Washington, D.C., and I am specifically seeking a machine that comes with a warranty exceeding two years. As for brands, I am considering Lenovo, HP, General Electric, or Dell. Thank you all in advance for your assistance.

I haven't exactly had the most glowing experiences with Acer or Asus in the past, so I’d much rather stick to the brands mentioned above.

What are your thoughts on this particular model?

Also, which tends to perform better: an NVIDIA graphics card or an Intel one?

Personally, I've had some pretty solid experiences with both Apple and HP, so I don't think one bad run defines the whole brand. Plus, there's that five-year warranty to consider...
This Dell seems to go against everything you said people were looking for. It’s bulky and heavy, which means it isn't exactly easy to lug around.
I guess Nvidia might be the better call when it comes to laptops.
