WhatsApp - messages not being delivered/blocked

Hi there!
Is there any way to block a message before it's actually read? I mean, once it's sent, but the recipient's WhatsApp is currently turned off.
I'm wondering if I can stop it so that when they finally turn their WhatsApp back on, the message doesn't deliver—basically, so they never even realize I sent it.

If not... then just spam them with a thousand slightly different versions of the exact same message. Just tweak them enough to be "new." And at the very end, throw in a note about how WhatsApp is acting up—maybe say it glitched out—and just pray to god they don't go back and read that first message

I tried it out with my own number and honestly? It was nothing special—just total garbage.
