Dell XPS laptop white screen of death

So, I’ve got this Dell XPS laptop that’s only about a month and a half old. Everything was running flawlessly until yesterday. I powered it up, it booted into macOS, and then—out of nowhere—the screen just went pure white. Now, it’s nothing but a blank white void. I’ve tried putting it in sleep mode and hitting the reset button, but nothing changes. It stays white. I can't even access the BIOS or get any kind of response from the system. It's completely unresponsive. Does anyone know what might be causing this, or has anyone dealt with a similar headache?

A white screen usually means the backlight is kicking in, but there’s just no image being pushed through.

It’s either a fried display chip or maybe—though I doubt it—the connector between the motherboard and the LCD came loose. Most likely, you're looking at a full LCD replacement...

If you've still got the warranty, just let them take a look and figure out what's actually broken.
