Look, here's the deal:
I've got this 17-inch laptop running Windows 10, and occasionally I just unwind by playing Asphalt 8: Airborne.
The game was running smooth as silk until last night.
Last night, I fired up the game and out of nowhere, the resolution just reset itself from 1600x900 down to 1024x768.
I tried switching it back to 1600x900, but now it’s flagging 1024x768 as the "recommended" setting.

Now, every time I relaunch this game, the lag is so bad it's practically unplayable.

What do you guys think?

? What kind of laptop are we talking about here?
? Which OS are you running?
? What’s the GPU situation?
? How much RAM is currently in there?
