I put this image up since there isn't an official poster out yet. All we have is this little thing, but man, it's way too blurry.
Anyway, just to get it out of the way—I personally thought the first Fast & Furious with Jason Statham was great, and I guess the second one was maybe a tiny bit worse, but still a solid watch.
Luke Goss is back in the lead role, which didn't surprise me at all, and honestly, I don't mind it like some people do.
He did a pretty decent job playing "Carl Lucas / Frankenstein," so he’s sticking with it for this sequel. As for the rest of the cast, we've got the old crew from the second movie: Danny Trejo, Ving Rhames, and Tanit Phoenix.
Fast & Furious X is gonna be a direct follow-up to Fast & Furious 2, which was actually a prequel to the original Fast & Furious. So, I guess that means we basically have two prequels now.

In this installment, Carl Lucas has already won four races and has to pull off a few more if he ever wants to see freedom. Right before his final race, Lucas and his crew get moved to a different prison. The whole final showdown happens out in the desert... you can find more details over on Wikipedia.
And yeah, definitely check out the trailer.
Fast & Furious X should be hitting US theaters around December this year. 🙂

I actually really dug the first two movies, so you can bet I'll be lining up to catch this third one once it hits theaters—fingers crossed it doesn't totally blow it!

You should attempt to right-click the link and select "open image in new tab," and if the visual still fails to materialize, simply refreshing that specific tab usually resolves the issue; typically, it is just a small animated GIF of a smiley face being whipped by a horse, though I suspect the intended humor was supposed to involve someone slapping a dead donkey... 😁

While I actually had a blast watching the first one, it’s such a rare occurrence when a remake actually manages to outshine the original film

(On the flip side, it's incredibly tough to top that classic (!) and yeah, let's be honest, the title looks like something straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon! 🤣)

By the time I hit the second movie, I felt like I'd seen enough. I guess I'll check this one out, but mostly just to say I did.

Well, what else do you expect from the 70s? 😁

Yeah, the second one was definitely worse than the first, but based on the trailer, maybe the third one will actually be an upgrade over the sequel.

It’s just beating a dead horse—or, if you want the American idiom, beating around the bush. We've seen this all before.

What a joke. I might consider checking it out, but honestly, the whole idea of yet another prequel just doesn't sit right with me. Fast & Furious 2 was mediocre at best. My biggest issue? The direction was lackluster—and the production value felt incredibly cheap compared to the original. I get that it’s a direct-to-video release, but why even bother watching if you've already grown accustomed to much higher quality?

Just finished watching this. Honestly? It was a struggle to even sit through.

There were a couple of moments where it actually felt fun, but then it would just drag into being boring, and that’s pretty much how the whole movie went. I swear I almost turned it off at least ten different times, but I figured, what the hell, I might as well see how it ends, right?

My rating: 2/10
