Best steering wheel bolt for PC racing?

I’ve been using my Red Bull Racing Thrustmaster wheel setup and honestly, it was fantastic for a long time. But after two years of heavy use, I’ve completely stripped the threading on the bolt. Now, whenever I try to tighten it down, it just keeps slipping and spinning without catching. It’s an 8mm diameter screw, about 6cm long, and it features a plastic tension lever at the end.

Does anyone here have any insight or a lead on where I might find a replacement part like this? I’m really hoping it isn't just some basic, generic screw that would force me to constantly strip the wheel apart with a screwdriver every single time I want to adjust it... :/

My biggest headache right now is just figuring out the thickness, because even though you mentioned 8mm, I'm totally tripping over whether those M8 markings are actually what I should be looking for.

You could also grab one with a plastic handle if you want, which honestly makes it look way less like a random hardware store bolt.
