Douglas is always hovering somewhere in that top 10 list 😁

Overall, track and field in the US (in terms of success) is kind of like swimming. You’ve got plenty of guys where making a semi-final is basically their peak, so they usually just end up stuck in the qualifiers. Every once in a while, maybe, a legitimate medal contender pops upβ€”like Stephenson in swimming or Spanovic in trackβ€”but that’s about it.

Good grief, what on earth has McPherson done to herself? 😡 Look, I’m all for tattoos, but this is just getting ridiculous.

Man, I swear, we’re gonna be stuck watching half an hour of non-racing disciplines straight on!

It’s such a damn shame they aren't gonna pull the same stunt with the javelin later on...

Douglas really messed up during the 110m hurdles today and then just called it quits. If he’s dealing with an injury, I get it. But if he dropped out just because he couldn't hit his target time, that feels pretty cowardly to me.

Spanovic is quite attractive.

Now I find myself rooting for Kitchen with all my heart. πŸ˜„

Pure mediocrity. They just took advantage of weak competition and the fact that Kuchina couldn't make it to the UN.

He also threw the discus right afterβ€”apparently he felt some pain from the fall, which is why he dropped out.

Go Mary, just steamroll them as easily as you have every other time this season.πŸŽ‰

VFS is always ranking high on those beauty lists, I suppose.πŸ™‚

I bet even someone walking down Broadway would shed a tear seeing that World Athletics flag waving in the wind.πŸ™‚

Man, BaloΕΎe is such an idiot. He’s gotta go and screw up the results right when everyone’s waiting to see the footage of those jumps. What a total joke.
