The Revenant (2016)

Of all the recent American releases I’ve sat through, this incredible Argentinian film was the one that actually managed to move the needle for me.
From what I can tell, it hasn't really been getting any buzz, which is a damn shame because it’s absolutely worth your time.

Caught that flick somewhere around Christmas time. I remember most of it—except maybe the ending—but it’s a solid ˝rear window˝ style thriller that leans hard into that claustrophobic vibe with a few attempts at twists.👍

Looking at all the new American movies lately, I actually quite enjoyed the Martin Scorsese film, "Good Will Hunting." It might not be his absolute best work, but I thought it was pretty solid overall.☕
