The referee's hands were raised? Honestly, why even step onto the field without a keeper if an outfielder was expected to step up and take shots? Why play without a goalie if we weren't prepared to handle things with that 7th Player?

Man, that was such a wild game, seriously heart-attack inducing. It’s just a bummer Team USA didn't pull off the win at the end. And not because of that mindless nonsense from yesterday.

We'll see how it plays out, I guess. It would be pretty sweet to wrap up the tournament with a win, though. Just enjoy your time off, you guys have plenty of it, plus you've got a really solid coach.

Yeah, except there’s this new rule now where if anyone interferes with a clear scoring chance, it's a penalty. They were literally pulling Mus on his jersey right as he was shooting, so the call was legit.

The real kicker is that if Mus had actually scored, it would've been over. But even he missed. We basically blew two match points in a matter of seconds.

And we couldn't even find the back of the net in those last five minutes of regulation... mostly because Stepančić was basically just standing there doing nothing.

I guess that part is still being worked out, like phase two. Phase one is just having him there on the line, maybe just acting as a distraction or something. Don't overthink it too much, I suppose.☕
