This guy Smith should be absolutely ashamed of himself—he thinks he's some kind of genius, but he needs to change his name, get a haircut, and disappear into a hole somewhere far away from America.

It’s not like we weren't right there in the game, either. Even during that second overtime, I guess we actually held a two-point lead for a bit.

Because we basically turned him into LeBron James, he’s always been that Ivan Balic type—you know, the guy who just decides the outcome of the game whenever he wants.

I mean, I don't think Ivan was always the one calling the shots. He definitely knew what it was like to be in the heat of battle too, though he wasn't exactly in the same league as Ivan. Still, I guess you have to admit that Ivan had much better teammates and, honestly, a way better coach on his side.

I guess things have just been a little off since I was a kid... maybe it's just how it goes.

I guess we're just leaning on him instead of actually having a real team in place... maybe that's just how it's going to be.

If this crew actually had some real grit and played like they had something to prove, maybe we'd see something special. But when you're the one expected to step up and lead the charge, it's just tough. I mean, this isn't exactly our first rodeo either; this is like the tenth time we've seen this exact same thing happen, and honestly, nobody seems to give a damn. But hey, oh well...

Even if we had a superstar sixth man on the roster, I don't think it would change a thing at this point... we're playing without any defense, every single offensive set is just stagnant, and instead of feeding the wings or the big men, you’re just settling for contested shots from deep. Jbbote, what kind of coaching strategy is that?

Look, back when we had that absolute powerhouse generation, we weren't even looking at third place—we were playing for keeps. But now? We haven't seen a final in years. It’s like we've somehow become specialists at grabbing bronze instead.
