Can't get my image to fit the screen resolution.

Monitor: Dell UltraSharp Monitor, GPU: Intel Core i-series, latest drivers installed. 1080p resolution.
Running Windows 10, Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 GB DDR2 RAM.
The issue? The image is freaking huge—it’s bleeding way past the edges of my screen. I tried adjusting things, set the aspect ratio to 16:9, and even used the "auto-adjust" scan option to get it to fit my 22" display (even though the panel is actually 23"). That works for a second, but as soon as I reboot, go to sleep, or the screensaver kicks in, the image stretches out again. I've been scouring the forums for a fix, but is it just me? Am I the only one dealing with this mess?

Check your graphics card settings for an overscan option.

Is that just a single monitor you're running, or is there maybe a TV hooked up to that graphics card too? If you can, take a quick look to see if the display settings are set to "clone" or "extend" desktop mode. That can really mess things up—especially if the aspect ratios aren't matching up perfectly.

Set the HDMI scaling to 4% in my graphics card settings and boom—fixed.

fsoul, this is my only screen, but it’s basically acting as both my PC monitor and my TV.
