First off, I’d love to get some expert eyes on this potential build. Does everything here actually work together, or am I missing the mark? Any suggestions for changes?

Intel Core i5-6600K (6MB Cache, up to 3.90 GHz), s1151
DDR4 8GB (1x8GB) PC4-17000 2133MHz CL14 Kingston HyperX Fury
Corsair HX520W
Gigabyte RX 460 WindForce OC 4G, 4 GB DDR5, 128-bit, 1212/7000 MHz

Motherboard?

What's the build for?

You're gonna need a Z170 board if you actually want to overclock, man.

GPU is pretty weak. I'm guessing this isn't meant for gaming?

It's for gaming. Maybe I should just grab an unlocked i7 and an RX 480 instead?

Depends on what you're willing to spend.

An H110 or B150 board paired with an i7 6700 and an RX 480 is a solid setup. But if the budget's tight, just go for a similar motherboard with an i5 6402p/6400 and the RX 480 instead.

What’s the actual budget here? You already bought anything?

What kind of budget are we looking at? Have you picked anything up yet?

Nothing yet. I usually order from Micro Center. $2000 I don't need a power supply, case, monitor, SSD, cooler, or hard drive.
