With most movies nowadays feeling like rushed cash grabs that nobody actually wants to watch, this one is such a breath of fresh air. It’s a real story told the right way—no unnecessary fluff, no pretentious directing, and none of those long-winded scripts that just drag things out until you lose interest.

It’s basically a masterclass in filmmaking. When the pros take over, they make everything look so effortless.

I can't even think of a better movie from this year on the fly.

I used to do that all the time in my initial announcement posts, but honestly, it started looking a bit messy. I had to use lines to separate the American English from everything else, and I noticed some people would just drop the trailer in one post and then wait until the next one to actually share their thoughts.

I'd never dream of announcing a movie without adding my own take on it first.

And you know what else? I finally figured out how to center my text—it looks great. I always wondered how others did it, making those really polished, aesthetically pleasing announcements. 😉

Definitely the movie of the year. Should be in textbooks as the gold standard for filmmaking.

Just finished watching it tonight. Definitely worth a look.

Personally, I thought the movie was just okay—not particularly hilarious, but not super gripping either. I honestly wonder how long it'll actually stick in my memory.
The whole sentimental angle regarding the woman and the lying, plus portraying one guy as this greedy, greasy creep while the other is some kind of naive saint... it felt a bit forced to me. I highly doubt things really went down that way in real life.

And at the very end, what was the logic behind gifting that chest full of cash? Was that just a bit of unnecessary scriptwriting fluff or what? 😁

The entire movie feels like it was condensed into the trailer; at least you get an idea of the action they’re offering.

Honestly, it was a total letdown. I was expecting some high-octane, fast-paced comedy, but by the end—nothing. Just a complete bust.

It’s nothing to me. Not even in the same ballpark as War Dogs.
Though, I guess it wouldn't be bad if you were feeding dog brains to a pet.
