Hey everyone. I’ve been dealing with this absolutely maddening issue on my laptop lately...
It's a Dell Inspiron 15 that I've had for about a year and a half now.
I originally picked it up brand new with Windows 7 installed, and everything was running smoothly until that free upgrade to Windows 10 happened. Ever since then, I've been stuck with this one specific headache. Every time I'm typing, out of nowhere, this random sound triggers whenever I toggle between uppercase and lowercase using the Caps Lock key. To try and shut it off, I have to go through the whole menu—Settings, then Accessibility, then Keyboard, then Toggle Keys, and finally click to disable that audio alert... but even then, it feels like a losing battle because it happens twenty times a day regardless... just randomly while I'm mid-sentence, even though I've already supposedly turned the setting off... it just keeps making that irritating noise whenever I hit Caps Lock to switch cases... has anyone else run into this particular glitch? I would truly appreciate any advice you might have...
