Greetings to everyone here, and I find myself reaching out because I’m in need of a little guidance regarding a laptop search for a student within this specific budget. The primary goal is to find something suitable for schoolwork—something that actually holds up and offers a decent level of build quality and portability without being a total brick, all while staying strictly within the price range we've discussed.

thanks 🙂

It features a more powerful CPU and an entry-level dedicated graphics card, all while being more budget-friendly. You should get a 1-year warranty for business purchases and 2 years for individual consumers (you can always double-check that via email).

Better CPU plus an entry-level dedicated GPU, all for less money. Warranty should be 1 year for businesses and 2 years for individuals (just shoot them an email to confirm)

Just curious, how exactly would a Pentium 3556 outperform a Pentium N3700? 🕺

Look at the benchmarks. You can't even put them in the same category; that Pentium N3700 is just a low-power SoC. Performance-wise, it’s sitting right up there with my ancient Sandy Bridge Celeron B800, which was already bottom-of-the-barrel even years ago. In my opinion, it feels way too weak for today's standards, and I’d avoid it if you have any other options.
