Hey,

A few days ago, I made my first account here under the name Schreiber and started jumping into the discussions. I barely even posted a handful of times before finding out today that I've been permanently banned for this:

You have been banned for the following reason:
being a clone of several other users

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

I’m wondering what exactly they used to decide that I'm supposedly some guy who's already cloned a bunch of accounts (which isn't true). I haven't broken any rules—no insults, no trolling... I laid out my positions clearly, backed by logic and evidence. If certain users or admins didn't like what I had to say, they could have easily countered my points if they actually had any. Instead, the second anyone disagreed with me, people started shouting "clone! clone!" and claiming they knew exactly who I was from before. Apparently, the admins just took their word for it and banned me WITHOUT ANY REAL REASON!

I'd like an explanation, and naturally, I'm asking for my profile to be reinstated.

Thanks in advance.

Is it through their writing style? Their IP address? There are plenty of ways to tell. ☕

How else do you think people spot clones in the first place? Just by guessing? No way.

Let’s talk about this "writing style" thing. That rule only makes sense if we’re discussing literature—novels or short stories. Applying it here is just absurd. This is an online forum where posts fly in every second, and most of them look identical anyway (especially when people are trolling, which isn't me). If you’re actually going to insist on that standard, you might as well ban everyone on the site right now, since we all apparently share the same "style." And while we're at it, feel free to check my IP address. You can compare it to the profile you banned to see for yourself.
I’d also love to hear what other arbitrary criteria the admins use to hunt down "clones"...

Thanks!

So, it’s been a few days now. Just wondering how the "investigation" is coming along? Did you guys track my IP address yet? What’s the verdict...
