So I found this monitor:
It’s actually a huge deal for me that it has a headphone jack—I really need to be able to plug my speakers directly into the monitor because the PS4 is just... well, no matter how much you pay for it, it doesn't have a decent speaker output.
None of the American retail sites I looked at actually list whether there's a headphone jack or not. So, I sent a message over to Best Buy support, and while I was waiting, I stumbled upon this: http://aoc-europe.com/en/products/i2476vwm On the official manufacturer's site, it clearly says it has a headphone out. But then, right as I'm waiting, I get an email back from support saying, "it doesn't say anywhere." I replied, basically asking, "can you guys just physically go check?"
In the meantime, I gave the local Best Buy branch a call to ask one of the guys there. He tells me, "Yeah, it says it's in there, 100%," so I figured, great, I'll buy it.
But then, I get a second email from support: "A colleague checked it physically and it's not there."
What on earth?!
The local store says yes, the official website says yes, but the main distribution center—which is the only place that could actually verify it—insists it's a no.
Has anyone else picked up this monitor somewhere in the US and knows for sure? Or does anyone have a clue how I can figure out if it actually has a headphone out or not?
