Gaming PC build ideas?

Looking for some suggestions on a gaming rig that won't choke on modern titles
Budget is around $600, though I'd prefer to buy from a shop that handles the assembly.
I'm not really sure how much an SSD actually matters for performance or what size fits within the budget, but I'm willing to sacrifice something if it makes sense.
