I mean, it’s crazy how much a coach can help by giving solid advice, but it also feels like
they can totally mess things up with a bad tactical call, too.

That 5-1 defense just isn't cutting it against Spain. They’re leaning way too hard on their big men in the paint and barely taking any shots from deep.

Still, there's a chance to turn this around. Honestly, Spain isn't exactly an unbeatable squad.

But I don't think the system is really at fault here. I mean, we eventually switched to a 6-0 defense, and they were still finding ways to slip through those plays to the pivots.

I told you guys while we were still ahead—our defense is a total mess and we’re moving like we're stuck in molasses on the break. They were finding lanes to score way too easily while we were just lagging behind... honestly, it was only a matter of time before they tore our keepers apart since we had zero creativity in the offensive zone.

I don't think that's really the core issue here—it's more about Alilović and Čupić... if the national team were being managed properly, losing wouldn't even be a big deal. But since we aren't quite there yet, I'll just keep my observations to myself and let the experts handle it.

As someone who isn't exactly a die-hard handball expert, I find myself nodding along with this sentiment. It honestly feels like Horvat is only sitting on that bench because he’s playing favorites to protect his own interests, and frankly, it’s frustrating. And as for Alilović? He needs to be pulled from the goal immediately; at this rate, we might actually be better off if nobody was guarding the net at all.

Look... honestly, between all the bandwagon fans and those relatives who suddenly act like experts just because they have some connection to the team, I almost find myself rooting for us to lose. 🙂
