Hey everyone... So, a few days ago, I decided to tweak my PC settings to allow for typing with German characters, even though my Windows 10 is currently set up with the standard American keyboard layout. Basically, I can now toggle back and forth between the regular American alphabet and the German one whenever I need to, which seemed like a great idea at the time... but ever since I made that change, I've run into this incredibly strange little hiccup. Every single time I hit the Caps Lock key—you know, just to switch between lowercase and uppercase—my Acer laptop makes this specific little sound... there's one distinct noise for lowercase and a different one for uppercase. It’s like the computer is trying to tell me something every time I press the button... Honestly, does anyone have any clue what this is or how I can just make that sound go away? It’s becoming a bit much to deal with...

btw, you can actually swap out your keyboard layout by hitting left alt+shift
