Good. That's just how it goes

I grew up listening to Motörhead, which definitely gave me a soft spot for faster, heavier sounds, though I haven't really been spinning them much lately. Lately, I've been revisiting the classics—realized I missed them

rip

Here’s a rare, mellow one I don't think anyone else has shared yet. Always been one of my favorites...

Uh, I just read "RIP bluecyclist64"... 😱

I wouldn't call myself a massive fan, but I wish my colleagues a peaceful rest in their wooden pajamas, and the same goes for this wild character... Cheers, mustache... 🙂

Personally, I still think this is the definitive version of "Killed by Death."

I just finished watching the Lemmy rockumentary... it gives you so many different perspectives on him... he was loved by everyone, totally timeless (even if he wasn't exactly "old" in spirit)...

The life details were just amazing, nothing too generic for someone who was such a massive rock legend...

This movie is way better than that other one... Live fast, die old...

The "Lemmy" documentary actually treated him like a real person rather than just some caricature. And honestly, half the film wasn't just a tedious Metallica tribute... 😠

They showed him as a real human being instead of just some caricature in that
Lemmy rockumentary😠. Plus, half the movie isn't just boring Metallica clips...

thanks for the tip🙂 even if it just sent me down a rabbit hole listening to his influences... turns out there's some really cool stuff out there...

The Lemmy Kilmister film is decent too. It’s cool when he pulls out that specific American knife from his massive collection. 😁

I'm not so sure they show an authentic American blade since things fly by so fast... they barely even get to two or three before it's over. But he definitely makes a point of it... either way, I think the film is great 🙂

The memorial for Lemmy Kilmister will be streamed live on YouTube

A bit late for me to catch it live, so I guess someone will just record it and dump it online somewhere...

To be honest, I never actually listened to their music, nor did I really know any of their songs. I just knew they existed and recognized that iconic logo of theirs. I didn't even know who was singing or playing in the band, but for some inexplicable reason, when I heard the news that he passed, I was... hit hard. Just incredibly sad and heavy-hearted. Why? No clue. I only just started looking them up to figure out who they actually were.
It's a shame. Yeah, he lived life exactly how he wanted to, and like he used to say, he had a blast doing it.
All I can say is that I feel terrible about it. Truly, truly sorry.
Now, man, you finally get a chance to rest in peace. If that's what you want... 😁
May the angels watch over you, Lemmy Kilmister... Goodbye... Who knows where and when... Be good...

R. I. P. Lemmy Kilmister. I saw them live once, but I wouldn't say I'm a huge fan; it's more like a band I respect rather than something I'd put on repeat. Lemmy Kilmister kicked off this depressing streak of icons passing away—Bowie, Alan Rickman, Grizzly Adams, the drummer from Mott the Hoople, now Glenn Frey... It feels like we're just waiting to see who's next.

Does anyone know where those parts from this song show up? The game... like in a movie, a TV show, or something else entirely...

Or maybe there's a cover version of someone else's track out there?

Oh, I actually remember this! It was used for that wrestler Triple H's entrance theme. He’s basically the Hulk Hogan of his era, and they put together a few different versions for him—like during the Evolution era, specifically "King of Kings" and I think there was another one too. Apparently, he was friends with Lemmy Kilmister, so he asked him for a favor, and that's how it all came together!

Could be! Honestly, they probably commercialized the whole thing so much it popped up in movies or TV shows everywhere. But I've got this nagging feeling I heard it somewhere for real... definitely...

And then, while I was diving into some Motörhead tracks I hadn't really bothered with before, I stumbled right onto that 😬 I swear, I love those little moments when you discover new music... I always end up falling down a rabbit hole online looking it up...
