First off, what games are you actually looking to play, and what kind of budget are we working with here?

At first glance, a quick mini-upgrade should probably focus on a better graphics card. You'll also need to let me know the exact model of your power supply first.

This is the power supply

I'd probably drop about $667 on this

Not sure yet... maybe something like the new FIFA or the latest Call of Duty?

The NVIDIA GTX 960 might cause a bit of a bottleneck with your CPU, but I wouldn't recommend going any lower than that.

I might go with something like this...

ASUS Motherboard AMD 970
MSI Video Card GTX 950 GDDR5 2GB/128bit, PCI-E 3.0 x16, DP, HDMI, Dual DVI, Retail
Retail Crucial module 8GB, 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-12800, CL=11, Unbuffered, NON-ECC

Total: $747 Centro

You can probably bump the processor up to about 3GHz in the BIOS with just a few clicks.
The power supply is pretty low-end, but I guess it has enough juice for these parts.
Since you're using an AM3+ motherboard, you've got the option to upgrade to an FX 8xxx series processor later on; otherwise, all AM3 chips should work too.😉

Or just the most budget-friendly route

Maybe grab an extra 2GB of RAM later on (probably around $33 used)
