It’s not a huge gap... if you take that first build I got from Best Buy and just swap in an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970.

Maybe his budget is just what he can swing $233 per month... we all know everything else besides Microsoft is way cheaper in the long run, but if he's stuck on a "monthly budget," then whatever, that's his problem.☕

I’m living here in San Francisco where the only thing you can find is a single car wash that does a decent job, let alone anything remotely related to computer hardware. The nearest Links is all the way out in Miami, and given the nature of my job—dealing with these grueling 12-hour shifts—making the trek down to Miami just isn't exactly feasible.

Just order it online. You get shipping... usually free if you spend over $0.67 (at Best Buy and above $0.33), so I don't see what being in San Francisco has to do with anything. 🤷

Because I actually have the option to pay in 24 installments, whereas at DBK there isn't a soul in sight who would let me do that, let alone help me put a rig together
