Help! Some random person is harassing me in my DMs

It wasn’t even particularly intense or anything; it was just... strange, I suppose.
Perhaps that is precisely why I reacted the way I did, though I can't say for certain.
In any case, it hardly matters now, and frankly, I feel a bit foolish for letting myself get so worked up about it.

Are you secretly reading your mother's self-help books? Or maybe your sister Cosmo's?

My mom doesn't bother with those self-help books or anything—if there’s ever a problem, she just gives me a call and I get it all sorted out.

I've actually read both types, you know, the self-help stuff and Cosmo.

I mean, it’s always good to stay informed and maybe broaden your horizons a bit, I guess.

He probably realized he could walk all over you. Sorry, but if you actually want peace and don't want to talk to someone, you should have just ignored him.

I simply told him to leave me alone after he sent that second message; there really wasn't anything else to it.
Furthermore, I believe my very first response made my intentions perfectly clear—that I had no intention of maintaining contact—since the content of that reply was quite explicit on the matter.
But regardless, this entire ordeal wouldn't even be an issue if I hadn't overreacted in the first place.
