And honestly, once I actually get it, I won't even bother complaining. I just don't care anymore, unfortunately.

sorry, but I'm an idiot because I can't figure out how to quote
Sandra Gonzalez3 said:You see that quick reply box right under my post?
See those little icons and letters sitting above that box?
Check out that rectangular icon all the way on the right. It looks like a tiny scrap of paper with some writing on it.
You see it? If you hover your mouse over it, it says Wrap (Quote) tags around selected text.
Got any clue what that means? Let me break it downβif you want to put some text in a quote, just highlight the part you want, basically "bold" it, and then click that little icon... get it?
Then it turns out like this:sorry, but I'm an idiot because I can't figure out how to quote
Just don't tell me you don't know how to highlight or select text.
Also, when you want to drop a link, just copy the whole URL from the address bar of the page where the text is and paste it in your reply, right under the quote you made.
One more thing: read this text 100 times if you have to until it finally clicks. I am not writing these instructions again, and you're getting a strike for every single post that doesn't follow what I just laid out here.
It's unbelievable that someone with 5,200 posts doesn't know how to use a quote or a link. Just keep messing around with it until you learn, and until then, don't even think about posting anything about politics that needs a quote or a link.
Capisce?

The issue regarding the Bank of Ljubljana popped back up on the agenda about a month or two ago, and we'll soon need to sit down with our partners from Canada to hash it out, Vesna PusiΔ announced in Washington, D.C.
Even though nothing major has actually changed with this situation, theyβve kicked the can down the road again, so talks with the Canadian side are coming up. Most of our European partners pretty much think the conversation is closed and see it as a strictly bilateral matter, she noted. She also mentioned that a meeting between the prime ministers, Zoran MilanoviΔ and Janez JanΕ‘a, is being organized soon, which gives them another chance to tackle the whole Bank of Ljubljana mess.
PusiΔ also shut down those claims that the previous administration agreed to let the Bank of Ljubljana Savings take on the succession debt. She made it crystal clear there was actually an ideaβand a formal requestβto bring in the Bank for International Settlements in Basel to mediate. That was requested, but the Bank of Basel shot us down, saying it's out of their jurisdiction now, PusiΔ said following a press conference held during European Week.

Don't just dump the URL by itself, just paste the whole damn link right under the quoteβAND DON'T CLICK ANYTHING ELSE!
The UN Security Council has threatened sanctions against Sudan and South Sudan if the violence continues.
A unanimously passed resolution calls on both countries to continue negotiations regarding disputed issues over the next two weeks, as recent fighting has spiked fears of an all-out war breaking out, according to the BBC.
As a reminder, South Sudan gained independence last year following a secession referendum, but several territorial disputes and disagreements over how to split oil reserves remain unresolved.
The resolution, drafted by the USA, supports the African Union's border divisions. This division is intended to end the conflict and push both nations back to the negotiating table. It also calls on both sides to unconditionally withdraw their troops to their own territory and cease fire. Both parties must also provide written confirmation that they will stop fighting within the next 48 hours.
The resolution includes a section urging Sudan and South Sudan to settle their disputes through talks and reach an agreement within the next three months. If either side fails to comply with the resolution, the UN will respond with "additional measures," meaning sanctions that exclude military intervention.

Ok, now I get it!
Thanks a ton, I owe you a beer.

Sandra Gonzalez3 said:Exactly. And look, try to actually say something meaningful instead of just dropping some mindless, half-baked sentence. Itβs better to stay quiet than to post some stupid little thought just for the sake of posting something.
Anyway, catch ya later!
Larry Walker24 said:How'd you even get that link? Every time I try to copy it, I just get the original URL back.
Links from Index or other sites are fine, but whenever I grab one from PBS, it spits out some weird nonsense instead.
Sandra Gonzalez3 said:It's the exact same process as Index or any other site. You find a story, you copy the link. How you managed to screw that up is beyond me. π€·
