When I boot up Windows 10, I notice quite a few programs starting up in the background—and I've heard that can really drag down a system's performance.
I ran CleanMyMac to take a look, and under the startup section, there’s a whole list of entries I don't recognize. I'm honestly not sure which ones are safe to disable without causing issues.
If anyone happens to have some advice on what might be safe to turn off, here is the list I'm looking at:

Yes HKCU:Run *LABAL*

Yes HKCU:Run GoogleDriveSync Google "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Drive\googledrivesync.exe" /autostart

Yes HKCU:Run Skype Skype "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" /minimized /regrun

Yes HKLM:Run Dropbox Dropbox, Inc. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Dropbox\Client\Dropbox.exe" /systemstartup

Yes HKLM:Run IgfxTray Intel Corporation "C:\Windows\system32\igfxtray.exe"

Yes HKLM:Run Persistence Intel Corporation "C:\Windows\system32\igfxpers.exe"

Yes HKLM:Run PSUAMain Norton "C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security Protection \ PSUAMain.exe" /LaunchSysTray

Yes HKLM:Run RTHDVCPL Realtek Semiconductor "C:\Program Files\Realtek\Audio\HDA\RAVCpl64.exe" -s

Yes HKLM:Run SunJavaUpdateSched Oracle Corporation "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Java\Java Update\jusched.exe"

You can skip the first three, and ditch Java if you don't need it. You'll probably want the rest...

1. Any leftover antivirus junk—get rid of it.
2. Google Drive—delete if you don't actually use it.
3. Skype—trash it if it's just sitting there.
4. Dropbox—wipe it if you aren't using it.
5. igfxtray—that's from your graphics card, leave it alone.
6. igfxpers—graphics card stuff, leave it be.
7. Panda Security—only keep it if you're running Panda AV.
8. Sound card drivers—leave those alone.
9. Java updates—you can probably ditch these.

If you're clueless about what something is, just Google it.

My apologies if I’m being a bit too demanding here.
If anyone happens to have a moment to clear a few things up for me, I'd appreciate it.
What am I actually sacrificing if I decide to disable these specific items:
Java
graphics
audio

Thanks for bearing with me.

Wouldn't it be much more convenient if they just kept Java available so we could actually stay current with updates...

Just leave it be. Honestly, you don't really seem to have a handle on this, and you're risking total system instability just to save a measly 2 MB of RAM.

swifttinker40, you and your buddies really shouldn't be messing around with computer hardware. You're just going to break something, and then we'll all be dealing with the fallout.

Maybe in a few years, once you finally realize that Google is actually your best friend, like I said before...

People, you're forgetting we aren't living in the Windows XP era anymore. Every modern OS, starting with Windows Vista, manages RAM intelligently. There’s absolutely no reason to strip anything out of startup applications, especially since our colleague doesn't have anything running in there that would actually slow down the boot process.

Alright, in that case, I think I’ll just leave everything exactly as it is—better safe than sorry, I suppose.
Thanks

Wrong. Windows Vista is basically the biggest pile of junk OS since Windows 2000...
