To put it simply—I am looking for a PC capable of streaming high-definition video online without any stuttering or lag, while simultaneously recording that feed directly to an HDD.

So, what kind of baseline specs should I be aiming for? Is a 2-core CPU sufficient, or should I insist on at least 4 cores? As for memory, would 3GB or 4GB of DDR3 suffice? And regarding the GPU, is 512MB enough, or do I really need 1GB?

My budget for a used machine is roughly $500. Do you think my goal is actually 🙂?

macOS Vista or higher (v20.0.89)
macOS Windows 7 or higher (v20.2.0)

Recommended System Specifications for Broadcasting

Quad-core CPU
4GB RAM
1500Kbps upload bandwidth
Dedicated video card, 512MB VRAM
Windows Vista / Windows 7
macOS Vista or higher (v20.0.89)
macOS Windows 7 or higher (v20.2.0)

Optimal (for 720p HD Multi-Bitrate Streaming)

Intel Core i7-2600 series CPU or better
8GB RAM
5Mbps or better upload bandwidth
Dedicated video card, 512MB VRAM
Windows Vista / Windows 7

you’re also gonna need a fast, reliable internet connection, like at least 5.80 Mbps if you don't want things to go sideways
plus, honestly, you really ought to have an HD monitor or a TV if you actually want to see what that quality is supposed to look like...

If you're just looking to play back 720p HD content, honestly, a single-core 2.5GHz processor should cut it—maybe even less if you've got a basic dedicated graphics card thrown in there.

But, if you’re actually planning on recording video? You’ll need at least twice that kind of power.

It’s not gonna run without at least 8 GB of RAM—recording is gonna absolutely tank your system. You also need a decent processor. This one is solid http://www.nabava.net/procesori__40/...41ghz__8425011 🙏 🙏
Too bad it doesn't have integrated graphics since you don't need anything crazy. If you don't want that then maybe http://www.nabava.net/procesori__40/...36ghz__6533131 🙂))))

Grab a Seagate Black hard drive—it's way better than the Blue ones http://www.nabava.net/cvrsti-diskovi...-sata__5330091 🙏 🙏

And you'll need fast internet... hope you actually have that 🙂)))) 🙂
