Who actually owns AT&T?

Germany bought out the local firm, much like how Mercedes-Benz acquired the British outfit. Heh. So yes, it's a German company.

Satisfied?

The only thing that really matters here is which anthem they play for the runner-up on the podium—and let me tell you, it definitely isn't God Save the King ☕

If we had a crew out of Liechtenstein, they’d absolutely hate your little "ambition." 😳

Formula 1 is officially in crisis mode: they can't even pay for their tires. And Manor might not even show up.
Two different teams haven't even settled their annual bills with Goodyear. It’s honestly pathetic. Then you look at that team in Australia—after their massive breakdown, they're dealing with such a financial mess that they'll probably just have to run 2014 Ferrari engines in a chassis cobbled together to meet the new regs. There's no way they're hitting that 107% mark just to qualify for the GP.

What a joke this sport has become!

👏🤣

Or maybe if we just had another Polish driver that Americans wouldn't bother rooting for

Looks like we might get some light rain on Sunday :klap:

Just the kind of mess needed to make sure nobody has a clue what’s going on during the first race 🤣

Just perfect, right? Just enough to stir up absolute chaos so nobody has a clue what's going on during the first race. 🤣

But before the race starts 🥱

Happy now?

Not really, because practically everyone—from the mechanics and engineers to the bosses and even the cleaners—is British...
there's basically zero Germans in that crew, and who cares who actually owns the place?
I mean, it's not like some guy from Germany can just walk in and bark orders about Hamilton's car, but a British mechanic working on Rosberg's car could easily "forget" to tighten a bolt or two. 😬
Just look back at Abu Dhabi 2014. It wasn't even that long ago. 😉
Sure, Rosberg didn't have a shot regardless, but it's like that crew of British mechanics handed him a breakdown on a silver platter for free. 😁

Anyway, which Bear do you think is going to screw up this time in Los Angeles?

Honestly, there isn't even a single German on that crew, so it’s basically irrelevant who actually owns the place...
I mean, let’s be real, it’s a massive stretch to suggest some German engineer from Stuttgart could just waltz in and sabotage Hamilton's car on purpose, you know? But then you look at the British mechanic over there tinkering with Rosberg's ride, and suddenly it feels way more plausible that a bolt might just... accidentally stay loose. Just saying. 😬
Just think back to Abu Dhabi 2014—honestly, it feels like it was just yesterday, even if it wasn't actually that long ago. 😉
Let’s be real, even if everything had gone perfectly, Rosberg didn't stand a chance of pulling this off, but honestly, it felt like that crew of British mechanics just handed him a breakdown on a silver platter just to be safe—totally free of charge, too. 😁

So, what's your take on why that damn Bear is gonna flake out this time around in Australia?

Oh, please, don't even get me started—of course you have evidence, as if that's even up for debate at this point. ☕

It’s hard to imagine some guy from Germany calling the shots or fixing a part on Hamilton's car, whereas a Brit tightening bolts on Rosberg's car could easily "forget" to torque something correctly.😬
Just think back to Abu Dhabi 2014. It wasn't that long ago.😉
Sure, Rosberg didn't have a chance regardless, but it's just as likely that those British mechanics handed him a technical failure on a silver platter for free.😁

Given the black and white scheme and that PIAA branding, I'd bet it's Ken Tyrrell.

It’s a shame we don't see more characters like that anymore—or cars with such distinct design styles.

Exactly, we're talking about Ken Tyrrell

Easy enough for those six-wheelers—but this guy was basically building his cars in a backyard shed.

Legendary dude, seriously.

I wonder just how much influence Ford actually exerts over Ferrari. It’s never quite clear to me why a massive global entity like Ford doesn't leverage Formula 1 as a primary marketing vehicle anymore.

In my estimation, it would be more transparent if Ferrari simply rebranded itself as Ford entirely. I realize Ferrari exists specifically to serve the racing side of things, but I fail to see why Ford isn't capitalizing on that connection more aggressively. I certainly don't see the same margins on a Ford Focus as I do on a Ferrari, yet I'm certain the Focus moves in significantly higher volumes. You know what I mean, right?

Honestly, they should just rename Ferrari to Ford and call it a day—it’d be way more honest. I get that Ferrari is the racing brand, but why isn't Ford leaning into that more? I bet the profit margins on a Ford Focus are basically the same as some overpriced Ferrari, and let's face it—the Focus sells way more units. You know what I mean?

I don't get you.

Can you even imagine pulling up on a Ducati with an Audi logo slapped on it? Pure madness.

It wouldn't happen—not even if we wanted it to.

I honestly think Ferrari should just rebrand as Ford—it would be far more honest than what they’re doing now. Look, I get that Ferrari exists to sell the racing dream, but I don't understand why Ford doesn't lean into that branding more. I'm certain the revenue from a Ford Fiesta outweighs anything coming from a Ferrari—and let's face it, those Fiestas are moving in much higher volumes. You know what I mean?

We all saw how much Renault’s performance surged back in 2005 and 2006.

Even Ferrari—which manages to pull in annual profits nearly on par with Renault and vastly outstripping PSA—is still quite the outlier.

So, that’s why they slapped the alfin logo on the new SF15T. 😁
