The Ferrari driver is right on the heels of the Mercedes guys after the first practice session in Los Angeles: "Solid day, zero issues—I can't even remember the last time things went this smoothly. The progress is decent, but let's be real, Mercedes is out of reach, though we're definitely aiming to stay ahead of Williams."

Things are looking positive around Scuderia. 👍

If they aren't lying or just talking out of their asses, Vettel had top speed in all three sectors during FP1, including the speed trap. 🤔
A little weird, considering Rosberg was a second and a half faster. 😵
FP2 isn't working...

Looks like we're dealing with a fair amount of technical glitches.
So, typical. Everything gets sorted at the absolute last second.
And McLaren is leading the pack, huh.

So, what do we think about the new graphics?

Marko and Christian Horner are being absolute jerks about this...

Marko:

It's honestly pretty pathetic how much truth there is in the idea that the folks over at Renault are just completely incompetent. 🤦

And it’s just like when Lotus first announced they were splitting off—they promised it would finally free them up to actually focus on development instead of being spread too thin.

In the near future, the only thing we'll be watching on the starting grid is the showdown between Mercedes-Benz and Ferrari 🙂

Plus, the track in Los Angeles is pretty weird, so even after it's done, we won't really know for sure...
