Harassment and verbal abuse not being punished enough

hasn't been banned from the forum for a long time? Instead, their posts were just deleted and they got a penalty of less than 100 points. HOW?

I’m not going to stop posting here until I get an answer. What that user wrote is honestly the most appalling thing I’ve seen on this forum in five years, yet because they're part of the admin clique, they haven't been banned. Let me repeat: they actually wrote, "you [expletive] [expletive]." Please just answer my question. How is something like that not grounds for an instant ban? It's absolutely terrible.

Posts were deleted first, then later flagged. It looks like the second one slipped through the cracks during the purge—clearly missed by a colleague who didn't issue the right penalty. Error corrected, post sanctioned. Thanks for the heads-up.
