Need help optimizing my build

I've put together a build, but I have no idea if this thing will actually run. Are there better options in this same price range? Help me out. 🙂

I'm still on the fence about the DDR memory. I really want to keep the total around $4,000.

I’d say grab some cheaper RAM if you can find it, toss in a WD Blue or a Seagate 7200, and maybe pick up an extra cooler—maybe an NVIDIA Kepler or an LC-CC-95.

If you're building this specifically for gaming, I’d suggest going with 4 GB of RAM for now. That way, you can tuck an AMD Radeon R9 270 into those extra $100 slots later on—it's a much beefier card—and just upgrade the RAM once you've saved up some more $100. You'll end up with a significantly more powerful gaming rig overall.

I mostly use this rig for gaming, specifically CS, but I also handle Photoshop tasks for work quite a bit. So, I need something that can pull its weight on both fronts. 🙂

Just grab a decent power supply instead—look at brands like Seasonic, XFX, or even Fortron Hexa+ or Hyper series.
That DeepCool unit is a total wildcard; it’s likely either bottom-tier junk or just mediocre hardware sold at an inflated price, especially since it carries a fake 80+ certification and hasn't seen a single real review.

Also, think about whether buying from Micro Center is actually your best move, considering they're the only ones stocking that DeepCool stuff.

Since you're building this rig yourself, you have the freedom to mix and match components from different retailers. For instance, the LC-CC-120 cooler is a total steal right now.

I'd rather go with a beefier GPU with 4GB of VRAM. You'll run into the need for more RAM way before you actually outgrow the graphics card
