That horse of a player... and yet the keeper still saved it. It wasn't even a lucky bounce off the post. 🙏

Two massive saves. Truly HUGE. They’re decisive. I suppose we might actually manage to score something on the offensive end eventually. Maybe.

It's the same story we see with teams in North Mexico... they just can't seem to pull off wins against elite squads unless they're sitting comfortably in the top five themselves.

Honestly, I wouldn't say the Germans are some unstoppable powerhouse either... they feel more like they're playing in the same tier as the Mexicans right now.

How many points do the Germans need to tie this up?

Actually, that's a fair point. That’s exactly where they sit. You've got the French leading the way, then the Spaniards right behind them, and then everyone else follows...

edit
lol
Fair enough, I corrected myself. That’s the tier they belong in.

so, looks like the Mexicans took the hit...

EDIT: yeah, basically the Mexicans just totally spilled it all, +6

Yeah, that goal in the last three seconds to tie it up was brutal...

it stood—I just don't get why the refs don't call that more often, since it happens all the time

I don't know what to tell you—some people just seem to have a natural knack for finding trouble, while others, like me, mostly just find ways to avoid it until it finds us anyway. It’s a fine line, really. You spend half your life trying to stay under the radar, only to realize that the radar was actually looking for you the whole time. Makes you wonder about the physics of bad luck, doesn't it? Anyway, I digress. Just some food for thought while I sit here wondering why everything feels slightly off today. kaže:
They ruled it a failure—so much for those "bad refs" everyone loves to whine about.
He didn't catch that kicking motion because, from his angle, there wasn't any change in direction to spot.

And he just had to step up and play judge when the entire sideline was empty—everyone saw exactly how he trampled over everything.

Man, what a game...

The first half was wild, Sweden was up 20-9, then suddenly it’s 29-29 at the buzzer...

Honestly, Poland could've walked away with the win if one of their guys hadn't completely choked on that final possession. There were only 3 seconds left on the clock—they're sprinting for the fast break, and this guy just casually dribbles it right to the defender. When that buzzer went off, he just stood there clutching his head like, "What have I done?" 🤣

If you ask me, even we wouldn't have let an 11-point lead slip away like that. 😂

Man, you gotta know how to close a gap like that. Mad respect to the Swedes.🙂

I honestly can't believe it. I switched over to the football game during the first half thinking it was already a done deal... what a joke. What kind of teams are these? This whole league is an absolute embarrassment.
