Moderating the thread "USA—half cooked, half baked...

Basically, this thread is a total troll fest. You've got one or two provocateurs running around with clone accounts, constantly spamming off-topic nonsense. All they care about is old-school US political drama from back in the day. Eventually, they just start hurling insults and whining about how "unfair" everything is—there’s zero substance to read here. I keep reporting the posts and the clones, but by the time the mods actually react, the thread is already trashed. These clones aren't even trying to hide anymore; they get banned, pop open a new profile, and pick up right where they left off. It’s blindingly obvious who they are, yet nothing happens...

Is asking for a little order too much to ask? Or, if you aren't going to ban them, at least let us tear them apart a little bit virtually. 😍😍😍😍

Check out this thread . Read what users like Count Cano and the others are saying; you can actually see the difference in quality, purpose, and basic decency. Meanwhile, this guy is probably on his thirtieth account there.
Maybe it's time to implement a seven-day posting moratorium for new accounts, or some other restriction, or more moderators, or something else entirely...

rustyorca42, could you please provide the links to those few problematic posts? I'm referring to the ones where the moderators failed to take any action even after they were reported.

Moving away from the appeal for a second, but is it actually allowed on this forum to call war criminals heroes?

The mods actually respond, mostly Charles Fox10. The issue is they aren't on the forum all day, so by the time a troll gets banned, they've already poisoned the whole thread. Plus, they just keep making new accounts to keep poking people, which pretty much nukes any discussion.

Don't bother. Just report them and move on. You're just creating busy work for us when you could be getting someone actually banned for it. Thanks.

The issue is you're the only one moderating that thread, but you aren't glued to your screen 24/7. Once the trolls get riled up, it's pretty damn hard to stay quiet.

I'm not the only one.

And don't bother replying... don't feed them. They only sign up for this kind of attention, and once you engage, you've already fallen for the oldest troll tactic in the book.
