The core issue here is that I'm completely stuck at the boot stage, unable to execute a single command. As soon as I power on the computer, it just throws this error message shown in the image. There’s absolutely nothing before this screen appears, and my attempts to hit F8 or F11 are useless. To make matters worse, even my keyboard isn't responding, which means I can't bypass anything or type a single thing into this interface. Since I'm currently struggling through this on my phone, I can't even copy the text, though I'll try to describe what's happening: the screen displays "efi shell version" followed by "map:cannot find required map name." https://www.google.com/search?q=efi+s...l%3B1200%3B900

I am genuinely desperate for some help here.

Maybe try jumping into the BIOS and just hitting that "load default settings" option—sometimes things get weird for no reason. If that doesn't do the trick, try swapping the hard drive's SATA connector over to a different SATA port on the motherboard.

He’s saying his keyboard is totally dead, so he can't even get into the BIOS...

My PC won't even boot far enough to prompt me to hit a key for the BIOS; it just hangs on this screen before anything else can actually load. To make matters worse, I've been messing around with the jumpers to reset the motherboard, but for some reason, nothing is working, and despite my attempts to swap out the slots, I'm still getting absolutely nowhere.

What if you tried cutting the power entirely and just popping out the CMOS battery for a few minutes?

To make matters worse, I tried resetting the motherboard using the jumpers, but nothing happened—total waste of time. I also messed around with different slots, but still, zero luck.

That specific screen usually pops up when the BIOS can't find any device to boot from—basically, it's looking for an OS and finding nothing. It's blind to your hard drive. If you have a bootable USB or a disc lying around, try booting from that just to see if the system actually posts properly. Most likely, you're looking at a dead hard drive or maybe just a faulty SATA cable—it’s pretty rare for every single SATA port on a board to just quit all at once.

Maybe grab that drive over to a friend's place and plug it into their rig to see if it actually spins up.
