For me, that was the third derby at the Rose Bowl. In previous seasons, there weren't any white seats in the fan sections at the FBI headquarters or the North stands...
Back then, people claimed it was to provoke S. Marić after that goal put them up 1-2, or because of that "bloody derby" back in the fall—especially since the chaos spilled out around the stadium later... Honestly, I think the real reason was just cheap manufacturing. The material used for those seats couldn't handle the force of an angry kick; they snapped like twigs. You can see entire rows of five seats ripped right out... they just broke because quality stuff wasn't easy to find back in the 90s. Plus, I bet the Black Knights were fed up with having the same seats for 17 years in their North section...😉
Later that year, we played again in late summer. I remember one away game right before Halloween—back when I was heading off to basic training—where we pelted J. Vučko with a raw lamb's head during a corner kick near the FBI building...😁
Good old days of being a fan... cheers...

Good old supporter days... lol
-I'd honestly forgotten about that lamb head 🤣 , that was ages ago
-yeah, those were the days, you can't recreate that magic

Hey everyone... I’ve been wondering lately: who holds more sway right now, the fans of the Red Hawks or the Blue Blazers?
What’s the vibe like out in the Midwest or down in the Deep South regarding this rivalry?
Which cities or towns in those regions lean toward the Red Hawks, and which ones are die-hard Blue Blazers supporters?
...I’d love to hear from some folks out in the Heartland or the Gulf Coast—give me the scoop, I'm genuinely curious...

I know our presence in the stands is growing, but I’m curious about how things shake out in specific regions and cities across the heartland and the Midwest... I’ve heard rumors that certain areas in the East, like maybe places similar to St. Louis or Indianapolis, lean heavily toward the Black Knights, while the West Coast vibes—think more along the lines of Seattle or Portland—tend to favor the NBA side.
As for the South, I’ve heard that spots like Nashville, Memphis, or even New Orleans might be Black Knights territory, whereas cities like Austin or Phoenix go for the NBA. Maybe somewhere like Atlanta is split right down the middle?
...but what about the smaller towns or coastal spots like Savannah, Charleston, or Miami? Who actually holds the majority there?

Honestly, what is the point of even typing out these questions when everyone just responds with such mindless nonsense? It’s like talking to a brick wall...
If you want the real truth about my topic, you should probably just ask folks from the Midwest or the Deep South—they actually live through this stuff every day.

The folks from the Midwest or down in Texas would probably have much more to say about my topic since they actually live through it...
Who do you think you are, some big-shot Wall Street analyst? Seriously, just get outta here...

I think you might be miscalculating 🙄 , because neither side actually holds the majority. If we look at the metrics being discussed in this thread, the most dominant force is clearly The 12th Man. You should head over to the Los Angeles subforum; users like Los Angeles and NBA will be able to give you a much clearer breakdown of the landscape. Best regards, 😉

Look, I’m no data scientist or armchair analyst... I just show up here to toss out an interesting topic so people can actually share their thoughts... What’s the big deal?
#639 ·
Hah! Honestly, maybe even The 12th Man isn't the biggest crowd you'll find at a local riverfront hangout... let alone anywhere else.

Once you take the time to actually examine their technical specifications, I suspect you will find your perspective shifting quite significantly. If you look at that specific thread? Go ahead and head over there; consider that your new area of focus. 👋
