Anyone else rewatch RED 2?

As long as it manages to be half as entertaining as the first installment, it’ll easily outshine all those tedious, self-righteous White House saviors and their tiresome hero tropes.

Actually, why am I even speculating? I watched the trailer, and seeing John Malkovich 🤣 right at the start is enough for me—it’s already looking like a masterpiece. 😁

The first part was surprisingly fun. It's the perfect kind of movie where you can just turn your brain off and enjoy the ride.

The trailer looks decent enough. I actually had a blast watching the first installment.

Part one delivered exactly what was promised, so I’m expecting part two to step up and do the same.

I just got back from the movie theater, and honestly, I had such a great time. 😁 It was the perfect way to unwind. Now, I should probably take my opinion with a grain of salt since Bruce and Byung 😁 are here, so I'll try to overlook any little flaws if they exist. 🥳

An absolute masterpiece, truly great!

Dean Parisot, plus that solid vibe from the first movie about retired, badass assassins, is what got me into this one. No regrets. Yeah, you can tell the actors are just messing around and not giving it their all, but honestly? That’s exactly what I’m looking for. There are some decent lines scattered throughout, Malkovich has this incredibly creepy, sweet little smirk, but Lee Byung-hun is the standout, obviously. The first installment was better—definitely better—but this isn't bad either. It drags a bit, and some of the action sequences are poorly directed, but sitting in a packed theater where people are laughing and the jokes land... the atmosphere carries it. It's fine. Passable.

The first half was way more fun than the second, honestly. The second part just didn't really grab me... I don't know. It lacked that certain "kick" the beginning had, plus there wasn't much going on. Hopkins was incredible, though. And man, that suit Malkovich wore at the end? Totally nailed it. 🤣

I’d say this one is a notch below the first, though it’s still absolutely top-tier.
