I made a video about ghosts—why was my thread closed? [D]

I can't believe you guys locked the thread. I posted using my boyfriend John Hill6's account because I couldn't be bothered to log into mine, and then suddenly Mike shows up asking the moderator to shut the whole thing down—which, of course, they did without a second thought. We were just about to try the semolina recipe again and upload a new HD video. Thanks a lot. Apparently, this forum isn't actually a place where you can ask for help. If the section is called Science Magazine, and this is what Science Magazine is, I don't even know why the forum exists. Thanks again for nothing.

It’s like you saw this massive, indescribable shadow—something so foul it made you scream because you were certain there was a ghost right there in the apartment—and then, just a couple of days later, you're acting like you don't even believe it was a spirit in the first place.

First off, I didn't write that previous post—my boyfriend did. Second, I was half-asleep and probably just hallucinated something in the dark, but I definitely yelled, "I see a face!" My boyfriend looked, saw nothing, and I was just shaking. When stuff like that happens, you get a massive rush of adrenaline and panic, and then once it passes, you just start coming up with a hundred logical explanations for what actually happened. It’s not my boyfriend's fault he misinterpreted my half-delirious rambling. But the fear? That was real. No magnets or whatever you guys are claiming are involved.

So, what exactly is this new HD footage supposed to prove?

Is it proof of a ghost, or just evidence that you've got way too much free time on your hands?

When you experience something like this, you just feel this urge to share it with everyone. If people dig it, they dig it. If they don't, they don't have to watch. But I honestly don't get it, man—why all the hate?
We haven't filmed anything yet. If it happens again, we might. My guy wants to run an experiment—I don't really care either way, but I guess I'll do it just because he's trying to prove a point.

Before we even get to the edge of the table, let alone Science Magazine...

Look, I'm not attacking you personally just for the sake of it; I'm calling out the way you guys handled the debate in the last thread. And from where I'm sitting, this one isn't looking any better...

Anyway, if you're actually terrified of living in that apartment despite paying the rent, just move somewhere else, leave that ghost alone, and maybe make it some cookies as a peace offering...

By the way, I’m a huge fan of Cream of Wheat too, and I actually just asked my wife to whip up a bowl for me... so, quick question: where should I put the bowl? On the edge of the table or right in the middle?

Thank God I have a friend who actually believes this stuff—he’s given me all sorts of advice regarding Ouija boards and whatnot. People aren't buying it because you didn't film from a distance or set things up properly, which you really should have done. Dammit, I believe you, though, because I know you don't have any magnets lying around and you were eating semolina—you don't mess around like that. So, here's the plan: you're going to make the semolina again, I'll step out of the frame, and then you film everything. From the prep work to pouring the semolina, leave the damn cabinet doors wide open so everyone can see there's nobody hiding underneath. If something actually moves after that, we can take it to the New York Times, and maybe—just maybe—we'll finally get an exorcist to show up and help us out.

And don't forget to get Spielberg on the line; his visual effects are absolutely killer...

Please, seriously, John, just back off. Then you wonder why people react this way. You approach every single topic with this fanatic, unhealthy obsession. I'm apologizing on his behalf. He's been losing it since that day; ever since the thread got locked, he's been yelling all over the house about how they could do that and how nobody believes him.
Of course they don't believe it. Whether someone believes or not is their business, but man, you have a little baby at home. Does it really matter if there's a ghost or not right now? You have much more important things to worry about at the moment.
Honestly, I regret showing him that. Now I have to spend the whole day listening to talk about filming, ghosts, and entities, but it is what it is. As far as I'm concerned, you can just close both threads. I just wanted to say my piece.
