I’m trying to wrap my head around how I ended up getting partial credit based on some supposed "constant trolling," which is how the Zillow moderator velvettrucker52 justified it over on the Democratic Party boards. 😕

Here’s the deal: there are two specific threads I’m a regular in—"Prettiest Women" and "Most Beautiful Celebrity Bodies"—and apparently, there are four or five women on here who feel like I’m bothering them because I "troll" or act too smart for my own good, according to them.
On one hand, you’ve got those four or five women—whom, out of pure decency, I won't name—but on the other hand, there’s a group twice that size who have gone out of their way to say I’m totally fine and don't bother them at all. A few of them actually wrote out nice explanations in their posts, and I’m grateful for that; it might sound blunt, but I’d call it a fair assessment of me.

To be honest, I couldn't care less about the partial credit. If all I wanted was to look at beautiful women, thank God there are plenty of pictures for that on the internet anyway. 😁 🤣 It’s the principle of the thing.

How is it possible to annoy a handful of women while having the support of a group twice that size, and still end up with a penalty? What kind of criteria is Tupelo & Co. even using to grade us? 😕
It’s clearly just a matter of subjective opinion. I really don't want to go down the road of thinking there might be some gender discrimination happening here. 😁

People are getting partial bans just for trolling 🤦 And honestly, the trolling always feels so random and arbitrary 🤷 It’s crazy how much trolling goes on this forum these days...

I feel like I need to weigh in here too—mostly because I’ve got a bitter taste in my mouth from how some of the moderators are handling things lately (and just to be clear, I’m critiquing the process, not the people).

The reality is that Austin Harris8 posts in a thread titled "pretty women" and yeah, he can be a troll sometimes. He doesn't know when to cut his losses or just back down (always with that "be the bigger person" nonsense), and he's stubborn as hell. If I were in his shoes—dealing with people way more relentless than him—I would have sold my company long ago... but the sheer volume of stupid, immature, insulting, boring, trolling garbage in that thread leaves me feeling 😕 when the mods take the author's side instead of enforcing the rules fairly. They let certain people get away with stuff they'd ban anyone else for, without actually understanding the situation (or if they do, they aren't showing it).

Come on, act like actual moderators. Back when I was... well, younger, the mods actually put effort into managing threads. I'm trying not to generalize, but some of these accounts look like they were left in charge by some random, ill-intentioned passerby. I don't get it. 🤷

Scott Cooper3, thanks for reaching out. I really respect you for that.

I was actually planning on hunting down your post to paste it right here—you know, that part where you gave your own (neutral) take on me. I appreciate you sharing how you view my involvement in those threads without me having to ask or prompt you. You were just being fair because certain things rubbed you the wrong way, and honestly, I’d probably do the exact same thing; I tend to be a bit of a litigious type myself by nature, 😬like a trial lawyer
.
Look, I won't pretend I don't enjoy stirring the pot in those discussions sometimes. However, there are some women on this forum who have become completely obsessed with me. It feels like almost every single one of my posts—even if I'm just commenting on a woman's looks or physique—gets labeled as trolling.
I have no clue why they've fixated on me. It likely boils down to people bringing their own personal baggage into the mix. Here's a cliché example: someone posts a photo of a woman, a female user who happens to have a similar build writes that she's hot, then I chime in saying she looks too thin or bony, we get into a debate, and suddenly *I'm* the one being accused of trolling!? 😕

And that's just one instance. There have been plenty of other inappropriate and condescending comments from women that somehow never resulted in anyone getting a warning or a ban. Things like, "What does a man even want on Zillow anyway?" (which is basically a subtle dig at my masculinity 😁), or "If a guy is posting on Zillow, he might as well be gay" 😂, and so on.
It's been everything under the sun, but it's glaringly obvious that the rules aren't applied equally. 🤷

What really gets under my skin is how people turn around and do the exact same thing they criticize you for—like claiming you’re "overexplaining your choices and annoying everyone by repeating yourself." It’s funny how they’re such "loyal friends" that they conveniently miss their own mistakes, let alone yours.

Most of them are just young girls who think they've got it all figured out because they haven't actually had to deal with the real world yet. It's honestly a shame they'll end up being an example for anyone else reading this.

I feel bad about the ban. I know you were just pushing buttons for a reason, but that kind of stuff doesn't fly here. 🤔 You either step back or stage some sort of "peaceful protest"—assuming the mods aren't total jerks and actually get the point.

Rebecca Edwards87 said:What really gets under my skin is seeing people turn around and throw the exact same criticisms back at you that they’ve been nagging you about. It’s infuriating. They’ll lecture you for being "too long-winded" or claim you’re "over-explaining your reasoning and annoying everyone by repeating the same points," yet they go right ahead and do the exact same thing themselves. It’s pure hypocrisy. But I guess when you're that close to someone, you become blind to their flaws—they’re such good friends that they completely miss their buddies' mistakes while being absolutely ruthless about pointing out yours.

It’s entirely possible we're just looking at a classic case of female solidarity here. 😬 Maybe it wouldn’t be a bad idea to introduce a male mode on Zillow. I realize most guys couldn't care less about "lifestyle" topics—and honestly, neither could I, since I only ever post in these two specific threads—but it would be a smart move. If we're talking about account suspensions or bans, men should have their own dedicated representatives on the platform too. 🤣
Rebecca Edwards87 said:It’s mostly just young women who have gotten a little too big for their boots for various reasons, mostly because they haven't actually had to deal with the grind of real life yet. Honestly, I feel bad for them—they're going to end up being a cautionary tale for anyone unlucky enough to read this.

I came out on top, and honestly, I wasn't surprised. Those younger women are just built differently—they've got more agility in their bones than anyone else. 😬 🤣
Rebecca Edwards87 said:I feel bad about the ban. Look, I know you were just poking the bear, and honestly, you had every reason to provoke me. But that whole situation over there... what was even happening? 🤔 It’s just not going to fly. You’re looking at two options here: either you pull the whole thing back, or you prepare for some kind of "peaceful protest"—assuming the mods are actually reasonable and have a clue what's going on.

To be honest, I probably would have fired back if someone had actually pushed my buttons. And look, I was being provoked quite a bit for a good stretch there—but I’m not about to sit here and get into the weeds over what exactly triggered it. 🙂

Look, I already know there’s no point in doing this, which is exactly why this entire subforum feels like a complete waste of time. 🤷And there you have it.

Austin Harris8 said:It’s entirely possible this is just a case of women sticking together. 😬

Look, I survived it—mostly because younger women have better reflexes. 😬 🤣

True, though if someone had actually pushed my buttons, I would've fought back. Honestly, I spent plenty of time feeling provoked lately, but I won't get into the reasons why. 🙂

I know there's no point in all this—which is why this subforum feels pretty pointless to me 🤷—but here we are.

So what am I then? 🙈 Oh, right—I'm just some old lady to them, totally uninteresting.

I don't know, I've just been feeling low today (it's been building up for days thanks to my chicken coop, which used to be a joke and a total blast, but ended up ruining my favorite local diner that I'd avoided for a while for similar reasons) so I needed to vent somewhere. If I were venting about actual topics, I'd probably be looking for the banned corner by now. 😢

A partial ban was entirely justified here.

I honestly don't understand why everyone is acting so shocked or playing the victim right now. This guy systematically violates every single thread on this chicken coop with his relentless trolling and endless, circular arguments. He’s been warned countless times, yet nothing changes—except now he’s actually resorted to insults. I fail to see any other recourse besides handing out a partial ban.

And this whole "playing the victim" routine because he’s a man, combined with the claim that men aren't welcome on Zillow, is just tragicomic nonsense. It’s frankly idiotic and deserves a massive 🤦

hiddenseal14, you’re probably the last person who should be chiming in on this thread—especially with a comment like that.

p.s. the fact that you only notice his trolling, "harassment," and constant debating just proves how biased you are. You conveniently miss the exact same behavior from people you actually find interesting or likable; you give them a free pass while picking on everyone else... whatever, let the chips fall where they may (that's me being polite—I'm not trying to insult you, though clearly, you won't mind if I do).

He’s been called out a dozen times while the other side gets a pass, and it’s purely because certain people here decide the rules and act like they're being objective when they aren't. I noticed it a long time ago—personally, I wouldn't fight back by trolling, but everyone has their own way of handling things. Being "polite and civil" in this thread rarely gets anyone anywhere; usually, you only get any peace by complaining about the mods or trolling a specific thread. So, take it or leave it.

On Zillow, men are welcome as long as they appeal to whatever specific group of women is posting in a particular thread. Austin Harris8 didn't pass the vibe check for that crowd in the "photos" section, even though most of us actually said we had nothing against him (and honestly, I think there were more of "us" than there were of "you").

And there you go again, accusing me of being chauvinistic.

I'm just on my phone right now, so I'll keep this brief—but let me remind you that you were actually the one pushing for these special elections.

And honestly, you got what was coming to you.
Last time, I practically begged everyone to just hit the ignore button and stop fueling these endless arguments.

But no, you just keep relentlessly labeling women as either "normal" or "not normal" in this thread, throwing out accusations of "Hitlerism," going totally off-topic, and spamming... it's obvious you don't get that—and I think I've said this four times already—these are meant to be lighthearted topics.

Almost all your cards—like, about ten of them—are from Zillow, including some of Tina's, so please, just drop the whole thing about the moderators being biased.

Especially since anyone from the Zillow crowd is more than welcome here.

It’s also not true that the other side hasn't been called out; Miss got a card too, along with a warning to quit the insults.

Plus, calling your fellow poster a "patient" definitely isn't helping your case.

That's the short version, anyway—I can give you a much deeper breakdown once I'm back at my computer.

Just wanted to jump in here and back up what my colleague was saying.
You asked for the partial files, and since the moderators were all on the same page, they just handed them over to you. It wasn't even a difficult decision for them to make, mostly because you've been stuck doing the exact same repetitive PDF tasks for ages—tasks we've actually asked you several times now to stop doing...

The whole thing feels like intentional provocation, just trolling and turning discussions personal to stir up drama and make a huge mess of the place, which is a pattern we've seen from you way too many times before, and honestly, the moderation team has repeatedly reached out and pleaded with you to move past this behavior...
Even you’ve admitted on more than one occasion that you do these things quite consciously and on purpose...

It’s true, I was looking for a split. Honestly, I just got tired of dealing with the handful of people who claim I’m "bothering" them—they annoy me just as much as I annoy them—so I realized it’s better to just take a break from all this nonsense.

Opening this thread was prompted by something else entirely. Like I said before, it isn't about whether I actually split off; it’s about the principle of the thing. Tell me this: how is it that I'm supposedly bothering only a tiny group of people, while a much larger number have already stated that I don't bother them at all?
If we really need to, we can list the usernames of those who say I'm a nuisance versus those who say I'm not, and then we can look at the actual ratio. It’s no big deal to me.

On another note, a lot of the stuff being thrown at me is clearly visible in the behavior of certain female posters too. Fashion Barbie is just as good at making snide remarks; she just wraps it up nicely in that typical, passive-aggressive feminine way. As for the comments regarding being "naive" and the attitude from hiddenseal14, I don't think I even need to elaborate. 🤷 And then there's the constant mocking from hannah3 and Tina, using lines like, "Why would a man even comment on women's photos on Zillow when there are threads on MK," or "I'm not going to argue with this cosmetician (which is hilarious 🤣 so I don't even get that mad 😁)," and so on and so forth.

Why does Scott Cooper3 see all of this? Because her perspective is neutral, plain and simple. Women don't seem to deal in double standards the way some guys do.

Look, yes, there is favoritism and double standards on Zillow. But if the moderators responsible for managing that site act that way, it’s hard to expect much to change. 🤷

@Austin Harris8/">@@Austin Harris8. Look, you don't bother me at all. If anything, I actually find your takes pretty interesting. I have to admit, they’re always a departure from the usual crowd (the ones you mentioned you can't stand), and frankly, I appreciate that. Who cares what the rest of them think anyway...

Well, there it is. I just got slapped with a partial ban, apparently for "trolling." Which is hilarious, considering I was the only one actually doing it. 😁

The only place where I'm actually banned is Zillow. I’ll probably just show up again in a few months once they've finished sucking up to everyone else. 🙂

Then why even ask how I ended up with a partial refund?

I mean, you haven't actually addressed a single one of the reasons we laid out—are we really making this whole thing about supposed protectionism over at Zillow now?

It doesn't exist. 🤷

The people claiming you aren't bothering them are just the ones who pop up on threads where you’ve been getting absolutely roasted—people who didn't even see why those partial bans were totally justified.

Look, I told you straight up from the jump: you're a decent guy, but you act like a total know-it-all and constantly throw out these provocations, especially regarding those VS models. It’s obvious your posts have all been nothing but passive-aggressive jabs at certain women on this forum.

I already told you, if you don't care about a topic, just don't post. Simple, right? But nope, you wouldn't listen. You just kept lecturing everyone, quoting some pseudo-psychology bullshit about people who admire the models, just trying to stir the pot and start more fights.
You’re forcing your opinions on everyone. And don't even get me started on that bolded part—you're making me look like an idiot. You apologized to me for that, I accepted, and I even apologized for poking fun at you in one of my posts.

And let's not forget that one post where you shamelessly insulted a woman here. She actually ended up accepting your apology and things were fine between you two, right up until you started acting up again on that thread about pretty women.

wearyranger352 said:The people acting like they’re "curing" me by staying out of my way are usually the exact same crowd that only shows up to jump on my case when I’m getting absolutely demolished in a thread. They weren't even paying attention when things were actually happening, so they had zero clue why a partial ban was even necessary in the first place.

No. It’s just Scott Cooper3 and Sleepy11 who can't seem to stay consistent around here. For the umpteenth time, I'm telling you: I only actually stick to two specific threads:
To women, there’s nothing quite like a pretty woman.
Let’s be honest: when we talk about celebrity bodies, everyone has an opinion, and most of them are wildly inconsistent. We spend half our lives scrolling through social media, staring at these perfectly curated, filtered, and surgically enhanced physiques, trying to figure out what the "ideal" actually looks like. But if you strip away the lighting and the heavy editing, you realize that beauty isn't some singular, reachable destination—it's a moving target. There are certain icons who seem to have hit the genetic jackpot, the kind of people whose silhouettes become the standard for an entire decade. You know the ones. They don't just walk into a room; they change the atmosphere. But here's the thing: the "perfect" body is a complete myth. What one person calls athletic perfection, another calls too thin; what one person sees as curves, another sees as something else entirely. I've always found it fascinating how much weight we put on these physical standards. We dissect every red carpet appearance like it's a scientific study, yet we forget that these stars are essentially living advertisements for a lifestyle that most of us will never experience. It's easy to get caught up in the comparison trap, but chasing a silhouette that was likely sculpted by a team of trainers and high-end surgeons is a losing game. At the end of the day, true presence comes from confidence, not just the measurements.

Everyone else has already stepped up and made it clear that I’m not getting in anyone's way. Simpsolina, just go for it—Chris Green83, LL... honestly, I don't even want to start listing them all right now.
wearyranger352 said:Look, I told you right from the jump that I think you're a likable enough guy, but you just can't help yourself when it comes to acting like a know-it-all. You’re constantly throwing out these provocations, especially regarding those VS models, and frankly, it’s becoming obvious. It feels like every single one of your posts has been nothing more than a series of calculated, indirect jabs aimed directly at certain women on this forum.

Look, I already told you: if you aren't actually interested in the topic, then just don't post stuff like that. It’s really that simple. But of course, you didn't listen. Instead, you decided to keep playing the professor, lecturing everyone else by dragging in all that psychoanalysis nonsense about why people admire models and other similar nonsense, just because you were desperate to bait people into a long-winded debate and a pointless argument.
You’re constantly trying to force your opinion on me, and honestly, that part in bold is a real slap in the face—it feels like you're straight-up calling me an idiot. I already opened up and apologized to you, and I even said sorry for making fun of you in that one previous post. So, let's just call it what it is.

Look, I already told you that I think you’re great. My intention was never to make you look like a fool, even if that’s exactly how things played out in that last post. Honestly, it's frustrating because there are certain people on this forum who have been trying to make me look like an idiot since the day I started posting. You probably haven't even noticed it yet since you just joined recently, but there are a few women here who have been fixated on me from the jump.
It feels like no matter what I type, I’m either trolling, getting personal, or just being difficult. Honestly, life sucks sometimes. It’s like I’m banned from even touching those topics, because if I do, someone immediately jumps down my throat claiming I'm "starting drama where there isn't any." 🤣 🤦

On top of all that, I’ve tried to smooth things over by sliding into their DMs to apologize, but it backfires every single time. I get hit with these indirect, passive-aggressive responses—you know the type—where they basically tell me I'm being dishonest or whatever other label they feel like slapping on me. It’s just constant.

Of course all of this is frustrating. Look, I’ve already owned up to the fact that I was trolling, and I even laid out exactly why I did it. But here’s the thing: the issue is that *I* was being provocative, not that I’m some idiot being played for a fool. I’ve been trying my hardest to smooth things over in a calm, decent way this entire time, but people just keep acting like they don't get it. I’ve been looking over the main thread again, and honestly, I think we need to take a step back and look at the big picture here. It feels like everyone is getting bogged down in the weeds, arguing over tiny details while missing the massive shifts happening right in front of us. We aren't just talking about minor policy tweaks anymore; we're looking at a fundamental restructuring of how things operate on a national level. If you listen to the pundits on the news, they’ll try to tell you that everything is status quo, but anyone paying actual attention can see the cracks forming. It’s not just about one specific bill or one single election cycle—it’s about the underlying momentum of the country. You can feel it in the markets, you can see it in how people are interacting in their own neighborhoods, and frankly, you can see it in the way the major institutions are starting to pivot. I know some of you are going to jump down my throat and say I’m being overly dramatic, but I’m making a flat assertion here: the landscape has changed. If you keep applying the old logic to these new developments, you’re going to find yourself completely out of step with reality. We need to stop reacting to the headlines and start analyzing the structural changes that are actually driving this movement. It's time to get serious.Wait, why are you trying to move this to the DMs? Let's just keep it here in the thread.

wearyranger352 said:And I won't even bring up that one post where you shamelessly insulted another lady on here—the one where she actually ended up accepting your apology and things were fine, right up until you started acting out again over that thread about the prettiest women.

Look, wearyranger352, if you write something publicly and honestly stating that you’re sorry for something on this damn forum, and then you get hit with a response like, "Nah, you weren't being sincere, zero points," of course that’s going to get under your skin. Naturally, you're going to push back or throw a little provocation your way... it's just human nature.

I've said it before: Fashion Barbie seems like a great person, but let's be real, she definitely knows how to throw someone off balance with those subtle, typical feminine jabs. Honestly, it feels like that's been her whole goal all along.

Austin Harris8 said:[/B]So what kind of criteria does Tupelo & Co. even use to judge people?😕

What criteria?
You’ve picked up eight warnings for trolling on the Chicken Coop forum.
Before those eight warnings, Arthur Kim74 sent you quite a few formal notices and requests to behave.
On top of that, you openly admit within various threads that your primary goal is to troll.
You were the one asking for a partial ban in the first place.
Our inboxes are constantly flooded with reports about your posts and pleas for us to step in and calm you down.

Those are the exact criteria we considered when unanimously deciding on your partial ban.

As far as I’m concerned—you should have been hit with this much sooner. Around the time you started bragging that trolling was your only objective.
But since I don't moderate the Chicken Coop—Arthur Kim74 does, and she's about as aggressive as a unicorn when it comes to handing out penalties—you caught a bit of a break.

There you have it.
