SD card not being recognized

I couldn't find a specific thread for this kind of issue, so rather than cluttering up a different section by starting a whole new topic, I figured I’d just drop a question here.
It's about a 32GB SanDisk microSD card I've been using.
Out of nowhere, my tablet stopped recognizing it entirely—it's acting like there isn't even a card in the slot. To make matters worse, I've tried it in two different smartphones and even plugged it into my Windows laptop, and the result is always the same. On one of the phones, it actually prompts me to format the card, but when I go through the motions and hit "format"... nothing happens at all. It just hangs there.

Does anyone know if there's a way to revive this thing, or has it simply reached the end of its life? 🙂

There’s no real fix for this one... it’s just a lost cause at this point...

Maybe try jamming it into a PC with an adapter and running a format? See if it even wakes up...

For me, it won't work in my phone or anything, but with an adapter, it works fine on my desktop...

I’ve already tried plugging it into both the wall adapter and directly into my laptop—nothing happens at all. It honestly feels like I'm just plugging in a dead piece of plastic... 👎
