The current state of things at the club is a total mess. It’s honestly ridiculous how much drama is being stirred up by Mamić and his inner circle. They’re out here playing games while the actual fans—the people who actually care about the team—are left dealing with the fallout. The tension between the leadership and the hardcore supporters, the Black Knights, has reached a breaking point. You can see it in the streets and in the stands. It's not just about football anymore; it's about who really owns the soul of this organization. The management keeps making these bold, questionable moves, acting like they have everything under control, but anyone with eyes can see the cracks forming. There’s a lot of talk about restructuring and "new directions," but it feels like the same old power plays wrapped in different packaging. If the higher-ups don't start listening to the voices that actually matter, this instability isn't going away. It's predictable, it's messy, and frankly, it's exhausting to watch. People are tired of the excuses. Either fix the foundation or stop pretending everything is fine.

The 2008/2009 season. Man, that was the year we were actually fighting for the title.
We were up 1-0 on a day off, but then we absolutely crushed them 5-0 on Wednesday. Turnout was pretty thin, though.

You've got it all wrong. Back in the final round of 2009, we were playing the New York Yankees—Mamić was running the whole show, acting like he owned the league and everyone else was just part of his little club. The game against Savannah happened before that. 🙂
