Honestly, I wouldn't say much about UniReu—it’s not like anyone was even cheering through the middle of the match, except for those last 10 minutes which were absolutely insane.

The match against Real Madrid B was an absolute slaughter... I honestly doubt we'll see anything like it happen again. Everyone was completely dialed in, and the energy in the stands was just pure euphoria.

It might not sound like much when you look at the numbers, but there were at least 15,000 fewer people hanging around the Real Madrid B game.

For sure, easily the most intense atmosphere I've ever experienced from the fans.☕
Baz, I was literally hugging two of my buddies right after the final whistle, just total euphoria... man, it doesn't get any better than that. I mean, I'm pretty confident that nothing can top this yet, because so far, nothing has even come close when it comes to the volume or how long the chanting lasts. But, I don't know, maybe I'm being optimistic... I guess I'm still holding out hope that one day we'll hit an even higher peak...

Man, that game at Real Madrid was incredible. I’ve seen more attractive matches and faced tougher opponents, but nothing beats the atmosphere we had at this one, though why that is, who knows 🙂

I still vividly remember that friendly against Hamburg SV at the start of that same season. It was beautiful out—pure summer heat, just the beginning of the year. The crowd was cheering like it was the Champions League final. Absolute madness, honestly, for what was just some meaningless preseason friendly. Things cooled off in the second half, but that first half was insane; it felt like everyone was just desperate for a bit of that Juventus energy after the break.

Those days when Real Madrid was in town were truly something else.

If anyone still gets a bit of a chill thinking back to last season—when we were all singing in unison from every corner of the stands... it was just some minor match, really, but the atmosphere was electric. A few flares went up, the crowd let out this massive roar, and honestly, I can't even recall which specific game it was, but the energy was unmistakable.

Maybe it’s just because we got crushed 3-1 in Washington, D.C., but then turned it around with a wild 3-0 win at home to advance?! 🙂

What are you even on about? Are you seriously trying to tell me we need to be going crazy for all 90 minutes of every single game, regardless of what the scoreboard says?

Most of those people don't even remember what the final score was 😁 which is why I'm sitting here wondering why anyone would even bother writing about why things happened the way they did, haha!

Yeah, since I was traveling for about 30 hours straight to get to Washington, D.C., and was out in the square, I definitely don't know what the final score ended up being. ☕

Obviously, the result plays a huge role, but you need a whole lot of things to align perfectly just to get an atmosphere like that.

Man, he wrote that... honestly, who knows why the atmosphere was just so incredible during that friendly against Hamburg SV 🙂

Actually, no—the "best" part was referring to that match against FCSB. 🙂

As for the Hamburg SV game, I just remember it fondly because the support in the first half was absolutely incredible. And I don't just mean "good" or "pretty decent"—I mean pure, unadulterated euphoria and thunderous noise, especially considering it was just a casual friendly with like a thousand substitutions.

European matches always have the most intense atmosphere, especially when you're traveling to Italy. As far as the domestic league goes, nothing beats the Atlantic Derby at San Francisco—it’s always high tension on the pitch, especially with such bitter rivals facing off. Even with the crowd tucked under those rocks, the energy is incredible. Honestly, though, the derby against Dinamo Chicago just isn't what it used to be. It hits different when you're looking at 30,000 people at Yankee Stadium versus just 8,000 now. It’s pretty sad, I guess, but that's how it is...

Why is nobody talking about this? The first 45 minutes weren't any worse than they were against Dinamo B.

The atmosphere here was decent, I suppose, but it doesn't even come close to what we experienced back then.

We were hitting the woodwork constantly, racking up corner after corner... it was absolute chaos in the stands. It’s honestly sickening how we couldn't find our luck; we really should have put a couple past them in the first half. Maybe we could have squeezed out a win at the very end...

Since we’re talking about the Europa League, I can't help but think back to that match against Zenit Saint Petersburg. The fans started booing the players as soon as we went down 0-1, and hundreds of people were walking out before the first half was even over. I swear, I curse that day and the crowds in Split... such a lifeless crowd that clearly doesn't understand the game. If things had gone differently, I would've been heading home in high spirits...

Hajduk fans face a loyalty test against Zenit Saint Petersburg 😉

It’s a decisive game for a chance at a better result in Europe, yet we can't even fill the stadium. Plus, a squad stronger than the current Zenit Saint Petersburg hasn't stepped foot in Poljud Stadium since they played Ajax Amsterdam back in '95.

As for AEK Athens, maybe it's just me, but I've always preferred those gritty winter matches in the cold and rain over those Europhoric summer nights.

Man, I am going to be obsessing over that AEK Athens match forever, seriously. Like, picture this: ten of us standing there tomorrow morning, totally soaked to the bone, holding up signs while we hunt down some beers. I honestly thought we were all going to end up with pneumonia because you were literally draining us dry, just pouring water after water into our laps...

A Decisive game—one that could actually yield a decent result in Europe after 15 years—and we can't even fill the stadium. Besides, a squad stronger than this current Zenit hasn't even stepped foot in Poljud Stadium since they played Ajax Amsterdam back in '95.

As for AEK Athens, maybe it’s just me—I suppose I've always preferred those gritty, cold winter matches over those overly Europhoric summer ones.

Rome 😉

But whatever, it is what it is—just a bunch of regular folks failing to show up.

Roberto Mancini, Daniele De Rossi, Zebin 🤣, Antonio Cassano, Samuel Eto'o, Francesco Totti—regardless of whether he actually played or not—along with all those other absolute maestros; what a squad we had, and yet we practically kicked them all out 🙏
