Jesse Campbell said:What are you even talking about? Any casual reader here knows the Black Knights won't shut up about anything. You guys are ready to drag out a fight with the Bad Boys for 19 pages straight. Then it's the Mafia, the Cohort, and so on... Meanwhile, over here, we don't bother with that nonsense...

I wasn't trolling the Black Knights when I said BBB is the most hardcore group in Europe. But apparently, your buddies—who clearly struggle with basic logic—took it as me picking on your group...

Look, you Miami folks are famous for exaggerating. If you can claim Miami is the most beautiful city on Earth—which is total BS since there are dozens of better spots in the States—then why can't I say BBB is the strongest group in Europe when it comes to being uncompromising, having "the vibe," and pure guts? It’s pretty damn close to the truth.

Huh? ☕

Sure, any claim should be open to criticism, including mine. But the argument that other groups should act like us if they were in our shoes? Not happening. That's just some imaginary nonsense that doesn't hold water. If a group stays in intense opposition for years against massive opponents, it actually means something. And trust me, it's not an accident.

Should I start listing all the groups that sold out to politics, bowed down, or turned into corporate puppets? ☕

When you (as the supposed leaders) claim you're the best in Europe, it's just a tactical move to put yourselves above everyone else in the region (mostly us). Because obviously, you aren't, but it doesn't matter—once people start debating it seriously, you've already successfully pushed the myth. Add in that constant bragging about your self-proclaimed superiority, and suddenly the myth has legs.
We all know who uses those methods—relentless propaganda and fake claims work wonders...
You (some of you) know exactly what you're doing...

Benjamin Thomas2 said:I suppose I agree. The BBB always charges headfirst into a wall, whether it was during the old regime or now. They’re constantly making themselves targets. Other groups actually knew how to back off and adapt when necessary. So, if one group lights 20 flares, it's labeled hooliganism, but if another group lights 100, it's just a great atmosphere. That's why some incidents in Europe are treated as a national disgrace that triggers stricter laws, while other teams get attacked by local thugs all the time without much fanfare. Have a nice weekend.

Right. You mean that whole "let's tear down Mamić before things get messy—actually, nah, let the cops handle it, as long as the guys on the field stay fed and happy" mentality.🤷

I wasn't mocking the Black Knights at all when I wrote that the BBB is the most powerful group in Europe in terms of fan culture. It seems your buddies—who clearly struggle with basic reasoning—interpreted it as me taking a jab at your group...

Look, you Miami folks are famous for being dramatic. If you can claim Miami is the most beautiful city in the world—which is total nonsense, considering there are at least ten better places in America—then why shouldn't I be allowed to say the BBB are the toughest group in Europe when it comes to grit and balls? Which is actually quite close to the truth.

Huh? ☕

Of course, any claim should be open to criticism, including mine. But the argument that other groups should act the same way if they were in our shoes? Not happening. What kind of person are you? Were you out in the jungle last night hanging with scavengers, or what...?
''Real Madrid paid 189 billion pounds into the national treasury by last summer. We follow the law to a T. We will even help Militi Horvat.''--''The BBB has been an uncompromising group for 25 years. The BBB is the strongest group in Europe. No one has ever laid a finger on the BBB. The BBB are badass. The BBB blah blah blah.'' Honestly, this is exhausting... Please, do keep going.

As the years slip by, the sobering reality regarding Bank of America and their relationship with the club becomes harder to ignore. Football is, at its core, about raw emotion. I don't mean to offend the fans—there are plenty of genuine, heartfelt supporters among them—but it feels like there simply aren't enough of them left.

We’ve always said that the Bank of America crowd acts like robots; they’re a self-serving group more focused on themselves than the club they supposedly support, showing up for ninety minutes regardless of whether the team wins or loses. But without passion, football loses its soul. That’s the element they've been missing.

Back in the nineties, they functioned like a true grassroots movement, acting as a pillar of civil society when they stood against the administration for defending media freedoms and basic liberties. During those times, much of the local community stood in solidarity with them. However, once that era ended, they devolved into just another niche subculture, much like the short-lived movements we see pop up in Washington, D.C. nowadays. Now, they've essentially become nothing more than hipsters in 😁

Without genuine love and emotion, you don't have a fanbase; you just have a collection of maybe a thousand people from the surrounding suburbs gathered around some central point. And now, Unknown claims they are the most powerful group in Europe and can influence anything.

Compare that to the Ultras, who have become one of the most active forces in civil society in their home city lately—a power capable of actually influencing local politics and making sure their voices are heard by the mayor.

Unknown can post on this forum a hundred times about how dominant they are, but that hollow feeling you get on a weekend when you walk into the stadium and realize how small the crowd actually is... it’s a depressing sight. I suppose I understand why you feel the need to write what you write.

And that’s exactly the issue, kid. They’re acting like a political lobby instead of a fan group... ☕

That pretty much sums it up... Screw those compromises. It feels like Štabulja is the only one left with half a brain... 🤷

That little theory of yours about it being some tight-knit circle of ten people nobody knew about? Save that for your buddies. The whole scene knows a huge chunk of the current political landscape is run by people who used to be deep-cover agents..

Back home, we could count the actual agents on one hand...

But you seem to be an expert on everything happening in your neck of the woods, and everything that went down there... I won't even get started on the 90s...

You’ve hit the nail on the head there. Honestly, forget all these compromises; it feels like John Doe is the only one down there actually using his brain... 🤷

I’d love to see you argue the specific criteria used to claim the Black Knights aren't a supporter group while BBB is. You guys were a small circle, grew into a movement, and then shrunk back down into a small circle. The Black Knights, however, started as a small group, evolved into a movement, and eventually became something much larger than a mere movement. They have become a force capable of mobilizing thousands of people to protest outside City Hall within a matter of hours, effectively exerting pressure on local government. In America, even farmers with their tractors or shipyard workers can't pull that off, let alone BBB. I'll leave it to you to decide which path is actually better for the club's long-term welfare, which is why I choose to show up at the stadium myself. 😉

Anyone who follows this forum with even a modicum of depth knows that the Black Knights—and only the Black Knights—are constantly stirring the pot. You guys are prepared to drag out an argument with the Funcuts for nineteen pages straight. And don't get me started on the Armada, the Cohort, and the rest... whereas over here, we don't really bother with that kind of nonsense...

I wasn't making fun of the Black Knights when I wrote that BBB is the most formidable group in Europe in terms of fan culture. Apparently, your buddies—whose reasoning seems somewhat limited—interpreted that as me picking on your group specifically...

I mean, at least you Miami residents are known for being hyperbolic. If you can claim that Miami is the most beautiful city in the world—which is total nonsense, considering there are probably ten better places in the US—then why shouldn't I be allowed to say that BBB is the strongest group in Europe when it comes to uncompromising grit and sheer balls? It’s a statement that is, I guess, very close to the truth.

Of course, any claim should be open to criticism, including mine. But I'm not buying the argument that other groups would act the same way if they were in our shoes. That feels like a bit of a fantasy sphere that rarely holds up in reality. If a group has been in fierce opposition for years against such powerful opponents, I suppose that actually means something. And I'd bet money it isn't by accident.

Do you want me to start listing the groups that compromised with politics, bowed their heads, or turned into corporate agencies? ☕

What are you even on about... show me one single post where someone calls BBB out for having balls. Show me one post where a member of any other supporter group talks about resisting repression or how hard things are, or claims they aren't giving a damn during a serious debate... you're the only group that keeps implying that about everyone else... you just keep acting like everything is great and that everyone else doesn't care... look, everyone has their pros and cons, and everyone has bigger and smaller issues... but when BBB starts talking, it gets a bit distasteful, my friend. And then you get reactions from other groups, and the cycle continues.

Jesse Campbell said:Hey, you guys should really go check out that other BBB thread. It's worth a look, I guess.

Honestly, if you look at the whole of Europe, there’s just no group that hits quite like them when it comes to the actual history behind it all. I mean, it’s just different. Their story? It's on another level. ☕

Man, you’re just a total pro at stirring the pot, aren't you? I mean, honestly, there’s really no questioning that at all.☕
Negation, I honestly don't get it. Like, why does someone who leads a group of maybe 97 people—with their gear all set up and just hanging around a tiny little radius on one side of the stands—actually think they belong to some kind of serious organization? It’s kind of funny, I guess. Maybe they're just delusional? I don't know. But yeah, it's pretty wild to me.🤷

Every hardcore supporter group has a fixed core number. Everyone else is just part of the general crowd that shows up for the big games, and I guess I made my peace with that reality when I was thirteen. Like I’ve mentioned before, when ultras lack broader public support, they get labeled as mere hooligans, and I think the media bears most of the blame for that. Constant crackdowns have stifled many once-massive groups, which you can see clearly in the French and Italian scenes. Look at the Verona crowds for context. Back in 2010, there might have been 20,000 people showing up, but by last December, it had dwindled to maybe 400. I was watching the big French derby between Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille the other day, and the atmosphere felt as quiet as a Chicago Indors match when Marin Čilić hits the bottom of the net. The Greeks have long been banned from away games. Something similar happens in Chicago, where they essentially push the ultras out of the stadium to make room for corporate types who are only there for the branding and profit, all under the guise of fighting hooliganism. The Black Knights are currently one of the largest groups in Europe because of that sense of belonging, the identity tied to the club's tradition, and having a real say in how things are run. If you took any of those elements away, I suppose the numbers would be cut in half, season after season. In Miami, everyone claims to be a Black Knight, from PhDs to local laborers, but in those moments, you aren't really an ultra or a movement—you're just a casual fan because everyone is thinking the same thing. Being an ultra isn't about blending into the crowd; it's about standing out. Maybe our numbers would be about 1,000 people larger if we fought the battles the way you guys do, but then again, there is that saying about preferring decades of pride over...
