If my memory serves me right, just a few years back, you guys were busy tearing us apart, claiming we were all exactly the same—just a bunch of mindless robots, uniform and boring, blah blah blah, endless chatter...

But now, you're all acting all sentimental over this first photo where everyone happens to be dressed in black.

Where did that original, colorful Black Knights spirit go? 😁

Looks like it was taken yesterday, though there are better shots out there—some from a game in Savannah a few seasons back, some from Portland, maybe 3,000 or 4,000 people there, but most of them are decked out in black.😍

P.S. Don't try to make someone a saint just because of what color they're wearing.

If my memory serves me correctly—and it usually does, despite the passage of time—just a few years back, on certain individual posts, you people were busy lecturing us about how we were all exactly the same, much like a military unit or a bunch of mindless robots, monotonous and dreadfully boring, blah, blah, blah, endless rambling and nonsense......

But now, you’re all acting quite delicate regarding this first image of yours where everyone is dressed in black.

Where did that original, colorful Black Knights spirit go? 😁

I sometimes find myself reminiscing about those old days back in the city, when people would practically throw themselves at anyone just for a bit of "social clout" near Central Park.😬

So what am I supposed to wear now? A green jacket? In the Joker, they’re all wearing black jackets... It's not my fault, it's the director's...

If my memory serves me—and it usually does, despite my best efforts—just a few years ago on certain local boards, you all used to bark about how we were all identical. Like an army. Robots. Monotonous and boring, blah, blah, blah... just endless chatter.

But now? Now you’re all flaunting this first photo of yours where everyone is draped in black.

Where did that colorful, original Black Knights spirit go? 😁

When winter games happen up North, black always dominates the scene.

That has absolutely nothing to do with being a hooligan, an ultra, or having a casual style.

As for being boring robots? That comes from mixing your protein shakes in the gym, not from wearing black.😁

Jessica Phillips6, I suppose their whole point was simply being able to claim they were first in at least one category, and you’re just stripping that little bit of joy away from them. Maybe try showing a bit of heart...

It’s honestly such a shame how people just don't appreciate a good joke anymore, you know? Everything feels so serious all the time! And then there's the winter... ☕

Who’s really to blame for us failing to pull off those Steinway pianos 😍

It’s a real shame about the scarves, but honestly, the biggest loss is that we don't have those hats anymore—back when they stopped making them in '05. Back then, the North end was absolutely packed with those olive and black caps featuring the shield logo.
As for these current hats and the way their Marketing is being handled lately? It just doesn't do anything for me...
The whole fan culture vibe has completely shifted; they’re just chasing mass appeal now, which is something I really hate seeing.

Where can I find some decent ideas for making custom t-shirts, hats, and stuff like that?

I can't see the image you're trying to share. If there was some text or a specific topic attached to that link, you'll need to paste it here directly. Once you do, I can get to work on rewriting it.

Seeing this kind of Marketing is an absolute disgrace. Just using the word MARKETING within supporter circles is embarrassing enough.
There are people out there who care about the Black Knights a little less than they care about the logo on a t-shirt or the profit margins from selling them.
Maybe one day people will actually grasp the true essence of a supporter movement, or maybe the greed for cash will just end up drowning out everything that actually matters.

Keep the fans in your hearts, not just on your social media feeds!

Are you guys seriously tripping over yourselves? 🤣

If you ask me, Marketing exists solely to fund the big-budget blockbusters. We can push our own stuff without them. It’s not like we haven't bypassed the official channels before to release projects that weren't meant for the masses anyway. 🙂
When there's actual will, anything is possible. The problem is everyone expects official backing for their little indie passion projects. Just make something real. If you believe in it, it'll work. 😁

In my view, Marketing exists solely to fund the club. We can push those extreme agendas ourselves—it’s not like we haven't bypassed official Marketing before to push content that wasn't meant for the general public. 🙂
If you actually have the will, anything is possible. The issue is that everyone here is stuck because your little pet projects don't have official backing. Just make something legit, and it’ll succeed if you believe in it. 😁

What do you mean by "funding the club"? Are we talking about driving up the stock price for Black Knights Inc. on the NYSE?
Using demagoguery like "that's how it's always been, so it can be now" just makes you look mentally stunted.

These aren't anyone's "pet projects"; these are moves made for the greater good. You just can't see that because you're too blinded by your own selfish interests.

Cheers!

I’m the one actually drowning here while you all whine about some hats and t-shirts that magically rot people's brains the second they put them on. 🙄

It’s easy to talk big when you’ve never actually tried to create those "perfect materials" you’re always dreaming up. You trash everyone else's work, or if you actually make something and nobody buys it, suddenly it’s just because "people don't get it." You think you know everything, yet you can't seem to prove any of it to anyone else. 🤷

John Brown30 said:Look, I'm the one struggling here, yet you guys are crying over some hats and shirts that apparently magically brainwash people the moment they put them on.🙄

My take? None of you have ever actually tried to create those "perfect products" you all obsess over. You love to talk trash about someone else's work, or if they actually make something and it doesn't hit the mark with the masses, suddenly it's just "people don't get it." You act like you're experts, but you can't even back up your claims.🤷

It’s not about the hat or the shirt. If you have a solid foundation, everything else falls into place.
To be specific regarding the current merch: it's the way it is because it's designed for mass appeal—which is exactly what you'd expect when you aren't designing exclusively for the hardcore fan base.

So the issue is that Marketing even exists in the first place. Since we're an ultra group, we're supposed to stay "pure" and untainted because ultras are supposedly the cream of society or whatever other theories people use to stroke their own egos? Honestly, is that just plain stupidity? 🙂
